  1. “You made the right choice choosing Cha Dal-Geon.” Said the aide to Park of DKP as news of the NIS cover up spills into the news.

Perhaps this explains things like the gloved hand…

  2. So the pace finally slowed down and how fascinating that the co-pilot is indeed alive. Someone please explain how he survived that flight. 😒

Let’s see how CDG will survive the next attack on him. Funny how he just opened that door quickly for the supposed new neighbour 😆

I’m glad he’s able to finally spill the bins but the way he got that pass for the palace tour from the little boy was quick. Lucky him. 😊

  3. And, the co-pilot is alive, and in hiding. The inept assassins are matched by the inept plotters.

  4. @agdr03, “Let’s see how CDG will survive the next attack on him.”

I guess for now, that’s the only thing I look forward to. As for the plot, I’m not as hooked as I expected I would be. I’m not a super fan but it’s safe to say that I like LSG, Suzy and SSR so even though I was tempted to, I’m not dropping this drama.

But I’ll be honest. Since Vagabond and Graceful Family are the only dramas I manage to watch these days, I can’t help but compare the characters of the female villains from these two dramas (Jessica vs. Ms. Han).

No offense meant to the actress but Jessica’s character seems like toothless foe to me. I don’t know if it’s the writing or the acting but she’s not as cunning and as scary as the drama wanted to convey. I think anyone here who had followed the character of Ms. Han from Graceful Family would would agree with me. A master strategist, quick thinker, almost omniscient and perfect, quietly dark and frightening, someone who knows which button to push, knows the shortcuts, lesser but surer moves. And when her eyes constrict and the music plays? You’ll know she’s come up with a successful plan. A character build-up like that is what will make it more enjoyable to watch once the table is turned and it’s time for her to pay for her crimes.

@packmule3, I know your hands are already full and the drama is now done with its 12th episode so I guess it’s now impossible to request you give it a try. But I want to let you know that while I’m watching GF, there were many times that I thought of you and this site. I can only imagine how close and clever your theories would be if you’re it watching too. Sadly, I got no good place and viewers to discuss it with. Nobody spoils me on this. LOL

  5. He’s alive? 🤦‍♀️

Yes, we may have inept assassins, agents, plotters, and politicians but nobody can rival inept writers. 😂

  6. ‘nobody can rival inept writers.’

    Boom! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

    😂😂😂

  7. @Storm Moon , LSG is really made for action dramas. ☺️ I actually thought that the ambulance action scene was pretty good. 👍🏻

I said before that I’m staying because I want to see how the good will defeat all the evil. 😊

  8. You can tell that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed: the bitchy side. I’m on call today and might have to go to the office for damage control. Grrrr.

  9. LSG seems to be having a blast doing all his stunts. I didn’t think he was the Matt Damon type. He was such a goody-goody two shoes before, but yes, I can see now how LSG fits in.

He was also a stuntman-wannabe in “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.”

  10. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed, me too today. 🤣 Let’s hope you won’t have to go to the office because you might add more rrrrrrrr from your Grrrr. 😂

No worries, I’m trying to relax by rewatching Moonlight Drawn By The Clouds. 😍 It’s my way of waiting for Flower Crew and Tale of Nokdu. 😊

  11. Ugh. It seems like I do have to go in. See you later. Hopefully.

  12. Okie doks! Ciao! 👍🏻😊

  13. Since I resolved not to expect too much, I didn’t know I’m going to enjoy Episode 6. It’s now fun to watch. 😊

  14. Does Go Hae Ri have the habit of kissing and branding a man when she’s drunk? LOL

  15. This show makes me laugh now 😆

This one a stand out for me, GHR went to CDG’s house and brought fried chicken. He actually just cooked fried rice and he said he cooked too much. It didn’t even look like it will fill a whole plate 😁

She needs to stop saying the amateur word because it’s really her! She was authorised to kill the mole but she still couldn’t. Understandable because when she killed the assassin at the safe house, she kept asking is he dead? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even the way she said her lines at the mole, she could have said it with more conviction.

    Rant over! 😂

  16. Oh I’m not even going to touch that bit where she kissed him when she’s drunk. 😆

@packmule3 can handle that one. I’m sure it’ll be a good one 😂

  17. Not much Assassin Lily this week. Instead we get another half baked assassination attempt on LSG, from Mr. Nefarious Nephew and Mr. Bad Haircut. At least the NIS made some progress. I think the NIS should subject all potential recruits to a drinking test.

  18. Why can’t Ki Tae Woong be superhuman too! I’m peeved that he got injured badly from the Truck of Doom crash. And I haven’t even watched ep 6. Hahahahaha.

Anyways. I ship KTW and Haeri. 2nd lead shipping is now officially my thing. It happens all the time. Sigh.

  19. Lol. A *crazy* fan (hmmm… I wonder whose fan 🤪?) is butt-hurt about our comments on the writer’s depiction of an inept NIS agent.

    TO ALL LURKERS
If you can’t tolerate the posts, comments, observations, banters and bitching here, please stop being a masochist and get the hell out.

There are tens of kdrama forums where you can play with vapid people and engage in group-think, i.e., gush over Haeri’s cuteness and Haeri’s skills. You don’t have to come here. Unlike other forums which monetize their sites, I don’t. Your lurking here is IRRELEVANT to me but DETRIMENTAL to your mental health. Take care of yourself first.

  20. Feel free to rant. Will comment later today. Have to go to work today. Micro-managing is my thing. 😈

  21. Just finished ep 6. Hae Ri is not meant to be out in the field. It’s a miracle NIS is keeping her. Judging from how she confronted the mole aka her boss, it seems as if she had not completed any training. She jumped in the room and whipped out her gun to 2 dudes who were just sitting there. She could have used her brain and thought of a quiter way to capture him.

She should really learn from Nayoung-ie in Life on Mars. She was not a secret agent but she has more skill than Hae Ri has ever shown. Most importantly..Nayoung gets her job done.

And the drunk habit needs to go. It’s not cute. The first time I can take as a mistake. The second is just forced. At this rate she might repeat doing it with other people in each episode.

I’m questioning wether I want to continue shipping KTW with Haeri. They look good together….but man…as of now KTW deserves far better. Hahahah!

  22. Thanks! 😉👍🏻 If anything, it’s really the writer and the director that’s making Suzy look bad. I thought she was fine in Uncontrollably Fond but here, her character is easy to get picky with. I don’t usually nitpick the dialogue but I saw that it had a swear word so I thought it needed a stronger voice. That’s just my opinion. 😆🤞🏻

  23. “Lol. A *crazy* fan (hmmm… I wonder whose fan 🤪?) is butt-hurt about our comments on the writer’s depiction of an inept NIS agent.”

Could be the same person who let fly in the other forum at some commenters (me included) there too…with the very original name of “I hate bashers”. 😂. She (?) has been dealt with and “erased”.

  24. So, let’s assume the most recent assassination attempt succeeded. The person claiming the plane was sabotaged gets assassinated while under presidential protection being guarded by the NIS at an NIS safe house. Are we supposed to believe that somehow takes credibility away from the charge of sabotage? Makes the charge go away?

  25. I’m not sure if it’s the same poster but I’m more interested that Soompi moderators took her out, too.

That’s a change. 😂 They finally learned to treat their old-timers with better respect and discern between discourse and bashing. 👏

I told them that characters are fair game but posters aren’t. You can definitely “bash” characters with well-reasoned arguments but you can’t “bash” another poster just because you don’t like her arguments. 😂

Why do you think this site is called bitchesoverdramas? 😈 It’s not only because I bitch about dramas. It’s also because, when it comes to choosing between posters like you who bitch about dramas, and the elements of dramas (like plots, characters, actors, writers, directors) that are worth bitching about, then I’ll always have preferential treatment for you. I side with bitches first, over actors, characters, writers, etc.

Previously, many mods in the forum didn’t get this perspective. They thought actors’ reputation should be protected above all things. And fangirls/boys next. They lost a lot of their veteran and frequent posters to the fangirls/boys.

As for that poster, I find her pitiful. She hasn’t honed her mental skills to match her emotional needs. She thinks with her feelings, not her brains so she can’t see what’s plainly visible that Episodes 1 to 4 did a disservice to the actress Suzy. The writer and director depicted her CHARACTER as a particularly feckless NIS agent. Suzy was only acting according to the script and director. It was the writer and/or director who had her character squeal every time she got shot at, or brush her hand through her hair to show stress (really. I get that Suzy has nice hair but tie that hair place in a serviceable bun or ponytail), or drink immoderately. I blame the writer and director who think that drunk heroines are cute and their drunken confessions are even cuter. To me, that’s a demeaning and sexist stereotype. A young professional agent should know better.

  26. I’m still on Ep 5, @flying tool. 😂

  27. What? One truck accident and he’s injured? Ki Tae Wong isn’t as lucky as Cha DalGun who’s been through 5 or 6 near death experiences and still lives.

Stuntman >>> assassins, agents and military men

  28. “As for that poster, I find her pitiful. She hasn’t honed her mental skills to match her emotional needs. Yeah. That was my opinion too (and I made it clear in my comment). It wasn’t the fault of Suzy. The responsibility lay with the script writer and PD. They painted her character that way. Not many actresses would voice their disapproval with the script or how a character is portrayed. They would rather just trust the writer/PD and go with the flow. I had to laugh at her argument to try to discredit mine. But like you, I realized it was an emotional response with no logic to back it up. Anyway I decided not to linger anymore by watching future episodes of Vagabond and have moved on. But yes, the mods stepped in because she took a swing at 3-4 of us in quick succession and it was obvious she had only signed up to rant (she was a noob). So I guess her rants were removed to clean the slate.

  29. Exactly packmule3! Ki Tae Woong did not have superhumanpowers like Dalgun. One ToD crash and he’s currently bedridden and on painkillers. Which is normal. Dalgun is not normal, but he’s the hero….he will never get injured *sigh*.

And it annoyed me that Kang and Dalgun drove pass the accident side. Imo that was a huge editing error. They were on the phone with KTW and the crash happened at the opposite side of the road but they just drove pass it. Did you not hear or see a huge truck ram into a car? And then the NIS satoori friend says ‘mr Kang, at the spot you were disconnected with Gi, a car accident has just been reported’.

    My goodness.

  30. lol.

I guess we discovered KTW’s superpowers then. He isn’t invincible but he’s INVISIBLE! They didn’t see his collision with a truck of doom.

That NIS friend’s satoori grates on my ears like nails scraping on a chalkboard. What’s wrong with her? She’s high-strung all the time. She needs to take a chill pill.

  31. I think poster was attacking @agdr03’s and @ katakwasabi’s comments. It didn’t get through our Bitch standards so it went straight to the Trash heap.

  32. Wait..I might have been attacked for my comment? When did that happen? I need more details~~~ 😱

I’m still staying for Ki Tae Woong. I need more of him on my screen. Stop giving me running/screaming Dalgun and inept Haeri. Sigh.

  33. “Wait..I might have been attacked for my comment? When did that happen? I need more details~~~”

It probably wasn’t even worth a read. 😂. Seeing it didn’t pass the Packmule3 filter. 😳. Rubbish so it belonged in the trash heap. Exterminate…exterminate…exterminate…

  34. Oh dear 😬 I’ve upset someone because of my comment. I’m so glad the moderator here is a great bitch first and foremost! 😉😂🙌🏻

Was my comment really bashing? Anyway, this was my first attack 😄 Should I mark it as a special day? 🤣

  35. I read a theory that dir. Kang is evil mastermind. Hence why he sent Haeri alone to capture Mr Mole despite knowing how incompetent she is. If this happens it makes Haeri a little bit tolerable. Only a bit. Lol

  36. By “evil mastermind,” did you mean The Monitor Man who watched Haeri and Dalgun leave Morocco and ordered Raymon dead? If so, I don’t think so.

The Monitor Man was in Portugal with his sidekick to watch Michael die. Unless, the screenwriter is hiding Director Kang’s departure for Portugal from us, I’m assuming that he was in S. Korea that whole time. He didn’t order Michael’s death. He was baffled about the whole thing.

    Two people trust Haeri.

    Dir Gang and Gi Taewoon.

I’m finishing Ep 5 before I head for work. Gi Taewoon was goading Haeri to reveal their conversation. That’s the whole reason he challenged her, “If you’re confident enough, you can expose it yourself.” She asked, “You don’t think I can do it?” He answered, “You can’t. You know you can’t.”

He was using reverse psychology on her. He was hoping she’d get upset with him and try to prove him wrong. And sure enough, Haeri did it.

But let me finish this. I skipped through scenes so I’m going back and rewatching for the dialogues.

  37. Yes, it’s your lucky day.

Of all people here, you’re the easiest one to get along with. If you comment on something you dislike, it’s a fair one.

@ Growing Beautifully is probably the kindest one here, @ nrllee is our feistiest and our lead researcher, @ Table122000 knows a lot about dramas and updates us what’s going on in dramaland, @ barbrey is the literature scholar. @ Flying_tool stays out of drama…the non-televised one.

    To the lurker:
Apologies accepted. If you want to join in the discussion, I suggest to give it time. For now, the old posters here will be eyeing newcomers with reservation. It’s best to start with a clean slate.

Anyway, let’s all move on. Almost finished with Ep 5 Too bad that Jessica is decommissioned. I’ll miss her character. She reminds me of a Batman character… is it Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn or Catwoman?

I didn’t know LSG was that tall. When DalGun stood face to face with the President, he was a good deal taller.

I’m hurrying through Flower Crew so we can be up to date with Episode 7 and 8 this week.

  38. Opps..I don’t mean Mr Kang is the biggest evil mastermind. But I do think he is not really on the good side.

I noticed that KTW used reverse psychology with Haeri. But at the same time, I think he also does not have high hopes for her. Since he recorded their conversation and had another plan. Heh. I was glad he orchestrated the whole event, from Satoori friend drinking with his subordinate and allowing her to steal the nametag for Haeri to enter the evidence room. It made his team look like they have plans and thought things out. I would have ranted more about incompetence if KTW’s subordinate drunk scene was not just an act. Hahaha!

  39. As of Episode 5, KTW is the only NIS agent who’s competent.

I’ll watch Episode 6 later to see this evil side Mr. Kang. But I do think he trusts and relies Haeri like, when he sent Haeri to Portugal to check on Michael. He wasn’t going to be satisfied with an autopsy report of the Lisbon police; he wanted a visual check by one of his own trusted people.

But Mr. Kang’s confidence in Haeri might be a little bit premature. She isn’t an expert field agent yet. Like entering Dalgun’s appartment and investigating it without taking precaution.

  40. I’m glad our issue is sorted and yes of course everyone is welcome here. 🙂

    Moving on….

‘Too bad that Jessica is decommissioned.’

Do you mean Jessica or Lily? You know when they showed Shadow’s back with his head, the first thing that came to my mind was actually Dir Gang. Maybe it’s his hair that mostly made me think it’s him but then like you said, it cannot be him as he was the one whose moving everything now to sort the problem. He also noted about Michael being left handed so that’s why he didn’t commit suicide. I don’t know.

  41. Whoops! I meant Lily. Yes!

I haven’t watched Ep 6 of Vagabond. So who’s Shadow?

  42. Ah I thought you meant Lily 🙂 She wasn’t happy to be decommissioned so I’m guessing she will come back later. She reminds me of Cat Woman.

So Jessica rang Shadow and when he turned up it was GHR’s direct Boss, Min Jae-sik. But right at the last minute when he was supposed to be taken by Police, he was taken in as if he was still a director. So of course, there’s another Boss after him. 🙂

  43. I meant above Min Jae-sik. 🙂

  44. The president and the prime minister seem like evil masterminds.

  45. “You made the right choice choosing Cha Dal-Geon.” Said the aide to Park of DKP as news of the NIS cover up spills into the news.

Some of the failed assassinations were supposed to fail because they were set up by Park of Dynamics to move our hero along the road to J&M’s ruin.

The reporter with The cache of data that J&M presumably spent a fortune trying to erase, was a plant by Park of Dynamics to feed incriminating data to our hero. The reporter isn’t dead, and there was no murder scene, and so on.

  46. Is this at the end of Ep 6? I’m not there yet. 😂

Which failed assassination attempts? Surely, not the Lily’s and the Unkillable gang’s plots? Lily really wanted to kill DG and so did the assassin who went to the safe house?

But yes, the reporter was too convenient. He conveniently connected all the dots for DG, from the comatose airport employee, the co-pilot’s insurance policy, to the F-X contract bidding. And he conveniently had the pen with the chip to hand to DG.

But what struck me odd was why would the murderer return to the scene of the crime? 😂 He already attacked the writer so why did return to the room? Lol. He returned “accidentally” to get DG to chase after him so the bloody mess could be cleaned up.
