Here are my answers:
1) LG’s coolest walk – no.4 – slicing through the enemy to get to TE.
2) I liked 1) – it was kind of heartwarming. About 2), I think the answer is because his sister-in-law took care of his physucally challenged doppelganger and in some telepathic way, he felt indebted to her as well. Even in the changed reality, we see her putting his wheelchair version in a medical facility to be taken care of. She even had conversations with him saying while she couldn’t keep him with them, she would ensure he is taken care of. Is my guess correct, @GB?😊
3) it’s the beheading kiss for me – the rest were rather lukewarm😝
4)I really liked Luna getting adopted by PM Koo’s mom as I always found her to be a sad character who could have turned out well, if given the chance. Even PM Koo was better than her earlier version.
5) It is the head butt for me..my heart stopped 🤪 Enough said.

@Phoenix Heh! Nice choices. I’ll get back to you on the strange meal arrangement between LL and SJH. What you say makes sense in a way, if we can regard him to be more capable of person-to-person relationship. I’d like to think he had some consideration for what she’d done. However, I’m guessing (yes, it’s still a guess and not mine alone) because we’ve never been told, that it is not as ‘sweet’ and ‘warm’ as that.
Will post it when more folks have tried to guess, or maybe someone knows … Let’s see what others say. I’ll put my guess here at around South Korea time, 9pm on Monday night. 😃

1. Coolest walk is of course #4.
For a girl who had been drugged, abducted,and almost ran over by the truck of doom, and is already just barely holding on to her sanity, seeing LG appear and slash his way to her was just awesome. Nothing else comes close.
2. Loose ends: I didn’t care about Chief Park’s secret at all. It could have been shown in an earlier episode. So my vote goes to Yoyo kid. It also answered the question as to why the guy’s face appeared randomly. Now at least I know. Though it’s kind of meh for me though.
3. Best kiss hands down is the Beheading Kiss of course. But after seeing the finale my favorite is the last one The CCTV Kiss. So it’s gonna be a tie for me.
4. Favorite change is Luna becoming PM Koo’s adopted sister. Their conversation in the prison made me laugh. Another thumbs up is making the secretary as the PM. So it’s another tie for me..
5. And lastly the sweetest hug goes to #3. When LG rescues her and carried her back to the palace.
Close second is the outside Hospital reunion hug.
Sweetest gesture would be LG feeding her at the hospital. It was just a smile inducing moment. I needed more of that kind of feel good moments, instead of seeing LR being splashed with blood all the time.
And lastly, I know this wasn’t included in the poll but I would like to include LJH’s walk towards JTE. That is truly worth an honorable mention. While watching that scene I was holding my breath and hoping that he is LG pretending to be LJH.
Best kiss: the last one in the security room. It looked like a kiss.
Best walk: Slashing through the minions to get drugged, exhausted, and nearly run over by the truck of doom TE
Best head pat: In the hospital so sweet and comforting.
Favorite change: LG tells the guys in the police station his actual name. Or the look on LG’s face when EN figures out the password.

Loose end? There are so many, lets see. When LG is in the hospital. LG asks if TE had been there and SJ says ,she dropped by. LG says You were mean to her and he asks SJ what he wanted to talk about and SJ says he can’t remember. LG says he doesn’t buy that. He should think about his answer and they will talk about it at the palace but they don’t. BUT They never do…
Ending the drama with a long distance relationship…come on. That was just dumb.

Heh! great that you had fun @Mimiahjumma! I’m beginning to see a slight trend here with Qn 1, many of us like LG slicing his way past traitors to reach TE. I’m vacillating between this Walk and the uber handsome (the lighting was great!) Walk from the hotel. He was so debonair, exuding joy and confidence because he thought he’d irritated his girl enough, to be able to see her. LOL.
@Iamastonished I like your pick for the Fave Change. LG had finally loosened up enough that he was not all entitled royalty, but more than that, in his concern for TE, all that entitlement meant nothing, as long as he could return to her as promised. One of the reasons for his induction into our BBDB Hall of Fame!

I was thinking even LG’s walk across the stage at the Maths conference, or his swagger outside after that conference, deserve Honourable Mentions!! He was even cute in sports attire, 😍 walking onto the basketball court!!! 😍
The loose end about the meals betweenLL and Song Jeong Hye has been something I have been wondering for a while! If LL’s goal is to reveal about the alternate world, I always thought he shld have done it when LG is younger and more powerless/harder to strike back, so I thought it might be for 2 reasons: 1) to use her identity for purchase of goods and services and pawning of “gold” for money (like how LG has to use Eun-Sob’s identity for the hotel rental), but i feel once his doppelgänger replaces their rich counterparts, this is not very impt alr; and 2) the other one is that LL has always been secretly in love with his sister-in-law, and that contributed to his resentment about not being the legitimate King as then he could have fought with his brother for her affections. I feel (2) was likely as a plot for us to give sympathy for the villain (I just feel somehow LL didn’t get the chance to be very fleshed out).
– coolest walk – this isn’t an easy pick but 4. I might be affected by how awesome Tae Eul was in that scene, struggling to walk towards him too in her state.
– Loose ties – erm.. 4. I didn’t care about the others but I was expecting to see when Tae Eul’s flower in the pot will sprout. The ones in the land between worlds did when both halves of the flute were there and time was no longer frozen.
It wasn’t clear in Episode 16 though what made the potted flower sprout. Was it when LG got the whole flute and LR died? Why? Because the worlds were no longer freezing when the portals where used? I’m not sure.
– The neck kiss, 3, wins without a doubt. Because I love kissing necks, lol, and I haven’t seen any in kdramas so far. And Tae Eul was, even if not consciously, inviting for a kiss when she mentioned beheading and stretched her full neck to him like that. Who wouldn’t have kissed her?
– favourite changes – 1. Luna getting adopted by PM Koo’s mum. That was nice, seeing them as sisters
– favourite hug/gesture – I loved so much about the hug and words exchanged after he rescues her, after slashing LR’s minions, so that one wins for me.

Why does JY have memories after the reset? Or anyone?
I guess all 3 of them that did the reset kept their memories, because they were all the cause of the changes.
Maybe also because the fate kid decided not to break the thread? And although that could have kept intact only TE and LG’s memories so they could keep their love, JY was as fated to save his king.

I was thinking that he could have consulted HCL Noh (but it seems he didn’t?), since she’s the one who got him to befriend LG and she and he are in cahoots over the talismans that keep being added and changed each month in LG’s chambers.

@oli Thanks for addressing the memory reset mystery. I feel you’re probably right. I was positing a reason wildly without thinking it through. Maybe it’s the ones who are intent on changing history who’ll retain the memories of 1994 and also get all the new memories as a result of the change made in the past.
I was also positing a reason for the imaginary lily to sprout, but to be safe, I should go re-watch. I was thinking it had to do with the flute being whole and opening up the portal. It’s like time between ROK and KOC suddenly could flow through, whereas before, time had stood still in there.
It took some time but time finally got moving in the No Man’s Land where LL and TE were as well. I just need to check on the sequence of scenes. Or should I even bother, since show might have shifted the sequence around!! 😱 🙄
@PikaLuna Great that you’ve been thinking about that interesting activity of LL’s where he eats with SJH. When you mention “LL’s goal” I start to wonder what else it might have been. I guess he could not start the reveal when he was still a wanted criminal… but 25 years later, when it did not look possible for him to look so young, maybe that’s when he felt was the right time to grab attention. Maybe he was going to say that he is the lord of time, because he remains young endlessly and in the same way, he’s the lord of the 2 worlds because he was able to bring the ‘queen’ back from ROK. His youthful appearance would be so impressive that he’d get more followers who’d want to learn his secrets.
Yes, I’d really love for him to have a backstory and to have a sad love for his sister-in-law or something. I wanted him to be a very evil but flawed human being, with a sliver of hope that he might have changed slightly, after being miserably alone. Unfortunately he remained a flat and totally unchanging character. I feel Show did him a great disservice, and the actor is actually not bad (sorry I can’t recall where I’ve seen him). I liked how he curls his lip when he gets 😡😠😤 angry. 😂

@agdr03, the BTS on LG carrying TE for a few steps… actually they were cute and funny and I don’t think it was because of his injury, but because it was not necessary to, and the poor guy probably had to do more than 1 take of it, so he was reserving his strength. @Fan of TKEM I’m gravitating to Loose end 1) too, now that it’s obvious why he did what he did. I still think, he should have confided in his wife and they could both have done good deeds together. But it’s very nice to know that some secrets are kept not because the ‘something to hide’ is illicit or evil, but because it’s embarrassingly good.

Briefly, and this idea is not original for me… poor Song Jeong Hye was LL’s cook and food taster. He made a habit of going to her place for meals when he was in ROK, but not because of any warm feelings, rather it was to keep an eye on her and get fed, but she had to taste the food for him first. As a member of the royal family, he too ‘feared poisoning,’ and it turns out he was right to do so!!!
When I re-watched bits and pieces of the early episodes where the thing about LG not eating or drinking anything without it being tasted first was repeated … and where even water (as in the case of TE getting drugged) could be dangerous, to me LL’s meals looked a lot like SJH was tasting the food before LL would eat it.

Coolest walk – Saving his queen!
Loose ends – If I had to choose, then JY being loyal. (Solitude was the worst…I understand the niceness of it, but it should not have taken up time in the finale IMO)
Best kiss – Reunion kiss. Short but sweet. Lots of “come here, you fool” energy in that one.
Favorite Changes – Luna getting a family. Speaking of Luna and the doppelgangers, I really enjoyed seeing KES’ take on doubles that aren’t quite as distinct as ES/JY. With a good upbringing, Luna essentially became a more tomboyish TE. And yet she would never be TE, because LG would first and foremost be Pyeha to her. And Tae Ra might be an over the top actress, but she’s still living at her dad’s place, and still wears button down long sleeves as part of her formal wear. (Showww, this is why doppelgangers of characters we care about would always be more interesting that doppelgangers of minions..)
Best Gesture of Affection – Hug outside the hospital! Their eyes were conveying like 5 emotions at once

4 because it led to my favorite hug. Yeong’s voice-over about wanting to be with Gon in any battlefield was a nice touch. And not really Gon, but for shallow reasons, I loved Jihun’s walk while in his navy uniform.
Loose end
Chief Park’s solitude only because I didn’t expect the show to address it at all LOL.
Best kiss
It’s not in the choices but the kiss with future Gon in episode 10. Teary emotional kisses get me the most and make my heart flutter.
Favorite change
Chaebol Shinjae. I loved that this happened just because Gon, without meaning to, talked to young Shinjae. Eunseob getting a cool job and marrying Nari was nice too.
Sweetest hug
The hug after the rescue. This is my absolute favorite scene in the drama along with the time stop outside the church. It was just such an emotional scene, and I loved the use of that instrumental music.
Happiest story end
5 and now I’m bitter again and crying because the show deprived us of this kind of ending.
