11.05.2002 – Husband, PKC reported her missing. 3.40pm DMS and Hyeon Su went to art exhibition; 7pm had dinner; 8.30 pm drink at bar
12.05.2002 – 12.45 am DMS and Hyeon Su watched movie; 2.30 am witness saw JMS being kidnapped; 3.10 am DMS and Hyeon Su went home
26.05.2002 (after two weeks) – DMS committed suicide. At funeral BHS cried his eyes out and talked to Hye Su, wrote a phone number 011 876 560X.
Summer 2002 – Hyeon Su was bullied by KMJ
10.06.2002 – Yeonju City serial murder case involving DMS
21.08.2002 – Witness received blackmail call
August 2002 – 3 months after DMS died, the village foreman died and Hye Su and Hyeon Su moved out.
Fall 2002 – Hyeon Su started working with NSK for 3 years.

2004 – BHS finished military and was studying for CAST
Summer 2005 (night) – Hyeon Su was hit by BHS, woke up at BMW’s house. BHS’s parents bumped with Hyeon Su stealing their valuables. BMW was holding a tray that contains bloodied gauze, perhaps from cleaning BHS’s wound?
Fall 2005 – Hyeon Su agreed with GMJ x BMW = BHS parents to take over their son’s identity. BHS was already in coma. BMW said BHS is in coma for the same reason Hyeon Su becomes a fugitive. Serial killings or link to the same murder case?
04.10.2005 – Hyeon Su went to apply for reissuance of new ID card. Temporary card is valid for one month (04.10.2005 to 03.11.2005). Issuance date on new ID card under BHS’s name was 04.10.2005. On same day BHS has to attend 4 hours military reserve soldier training. The letter was issued on 17.09.2005.

Summer 2006 – Hyeon Su met JW for the first time, bought beer and showed new ID card. JW figured Hyeon Su lived as BHS for at least 14 years (Summer 2006 – 2020).
Winter 2006 (night) – Hyeon Su went to buy beer again at JW’s grocery shop and blackout at the shop.
Summer 2007 – JW confessed to Hyeon Su at his workshop
Spring 2008 (night) – (Ep. 5) JW and Hyeon Su (blonde hair) had another date and Hyeon Su finally accepted JW and kiss; and (Ep. 10) Hyeon Su (black hair) working at his room and JW came to tell that she passed her police exam – possibly few weeks after that kiss date.

Just wanted to say that I keep thinking about the Bark’s family portrait which is so prominent and the difference in expression between the real and fake sons-such telling details. And how was it done-probably by an early iteration of Photoshop.

I looked at the old portrait with the real Baek Hee Sung and the later one with Hyun Soo in it … there were differences in hair and dress, therefore I believe that they re-took the later portrait, rather than resorted to Photoshop.
Your comment about the expressions makes me want to go back to look at those again. I think I was noticing more the parents (especially Mum Baek’s expression) in the portrait. She looked more strained in the later portrait.

Thank you for the gifs @pm3. I like the way she hugs. She always pulls him to her and sort of envelopes him, a lot different than other Kdrama female leads. It gives you the feeling of intentionality and purpose. She doesn’t do it because she “has to” or simply because “duty as a partner”. She does it because she loves him by action, intention and display of reassurance.
