  1. GOAL! For the piano duet.

  2. YES GOAL! There were so many sweet moments, oh my heart! That wink! “Do you have something in your eye?” 🤣 And melted chocolate! I wonder if Grandpa’s story is foretelling their future, that they would need to wait 5 years too.

I really loved how the entire village rallied around Jae Min and Rara. Both of them, plus Jun, have new found families.

Stalker seems to be good at filching wallets, I wonder if he was the one who took Jun’s previously?

  3. @JT7, I wonder about Jun’s wallet too. But it seems that the stalker is from Seoul, and Jun’s wallet was stolen in Eunpo. Jun did move to Eunpo before Rara. It looks like some dramatic reveals are going to happen in Episode 10.

  4. It looks like Ha Yeong is starting to realize how much Seung Gi likes her. I like the teen actress.

    Poor little Jae Min…

  5. Is everyone up late waiting for election results?

@snowflower Good point about the stalker! I checked back on the timeline, I think the stalker was already in Eunpo when Jun moved there. When DDSSLLS texted Rara the first time we were shown the 4 men on the top of the cable car tower, so I guess the stalker could also have taken Jun’s wallet?

I wonder what does the stalker do for a living, to be able to just spend most of his time stalking Rara. His “office” had many boxes from Good & Good (the MLM company which had the meeting where Jun got into a fight). Jun was smart to have followed him, and even thought to find his office using letters from the letterboxes.

My heart sank when Jun told doc to call the police if he couldn’t find Rara… The police are going to find him. 🙁 On a happier note, Rara is growing up! Those gimbap with hearts were so cute… and Jun’s “mmmmmm, tastes horrible” was 🤣🤣🤣 Also, he’s having a nosebleed again, I wonder why 😆

  6. Awww I was smiling happily when Jun and Rara played their piano duet. 🥰 Was it really them playing? ☺️ Sorry it might be a silly question. 😆

My gosh though! Jaemin had me watching him with my mouth open 😱😍 I felt so bad and angry 😡 for him when stalker pulled his arm. I wished the doctor followed his instincts too when he saw it. 😔 But that scene was important I guess.

The supporting characters in this drama is probably the best one that I like in all kdrama. I mean those ahjumma’s, Seungi, Haeyong. They rock! ☺️

I’m liking the romance of Seungi and Haeyong too. 🥰

I think you’re right @JT7 about that 5 years time for Rara and Jun just like for Grandpa Kim and his wife. I liked the way Rara and Jun portrayed their younger version.

I won’t bother commenting about the stalker. 😡😤

  7. The cause of his nosebleed?

    Allergies? He’s allergic to flowers?
    Working too hard?
Lovesick? The blood vessels in his nostrils are stressed out?

I like the montage of Grandpa Kim and his wife. You’re right. It’s probably a foreshadowing. Rara was shocked that Grandpa Kim had to wait 5 years to save up for a small room.

The scene when they were celebrating JaeMin’s piano competition was heartwarming. It took Rara for all them to connect.

  8. @packmule 🤣 The dinner celebration was such a beautiful scene.

Ep 10 was heartbreaking in so many ways, and they had to delay the release because of baseball! But they still managed to squeeze in little light moments, I laughed so hard when Doc said Jun was a ghost and the 2 teens looked at him like he was nuts.

I liked that Jun actually wanted to tell Rara his secret the next day, just that he didn’t get to, and that Doc is now becoming more of a mentor rather than an a third wheel. Is it too much to hope that Jun’s family manages to resolve their issues, instead of always taking the path of “action-reaction”? Otherwise he’s just going to keep trying to run away. (They revisited the bit about using visiting the toilet as a ruse to run away, it was shown in one of the dramas Ms Jin was watching, and Jun later uses the same ruse to make a break for it.)

They found another hp in the stalker’s office, which fits our earlier theory that the real DDSSLLS might have been killed by the stalker and dumped in the sea. If so, then the piano might have been from the fake DDSSLLS.

I’m liking HY more and more. She has spunk. Initially she didn’t back down to Jun’s mum, while Seung Ki did. It’s going to be a long week counting down to the next episode!

  9. I am glad that the stalker is out of the picture.
The beauty salon ahjummas deserve their own cooking show. I would gladly play the piano for them while they cook and discuss dramas, provided I get to eat some of the food!😃

Poor Jun, he never got a chance to tell Rara his secret, and now they are separated. I just hope that his mom will have a change of heart and take his side.

  10. @agdr03, I could not tell if the actors were really playing the piano. The hands on the keys definitely matched the sounds we were hearing. I have no idea if Go A Ra or Lee Jae Wook can actually play, but they were very convincing! I would like to know the name of the duet piece. Hopefully this will happen when the full soundtrack is released.

  11. Ep 10.
I like Seun-gi and HY very much. It seems like they will work together to help Jun and Ra Ra.

I was really hoping that Jun could make it onto the Cruise ship that was in the dock. At least I don’t think it was the Jeju Island ferry; it seemed too large. I could imagine Jun working his way across the ocean on a ship.

Jun was so angry that his mother hid his absence from his father. Jun said that it was the loudest he could speak out against his father. He wanted to make a point but that was taken from him. We know that his father is unpleasant but it’s sad that he doesn’t have any family member who supports him.

How did Jun get to be such a good person with parents like that?

I felt bad that Jae-min’s father wasn’t around to support him. But apart from that, the meal afterwards was so perfect. I hope that we’ll see Jae-min continue to develop as a pianist and personally.

  12. Huh? Did I get this right? Did Rara just betray Jun to his mom? 🥴

Okay. I get that he’s a minor but even teenagers know that break-ups should be done in private. Tsk tsk tsk. It’s the least one could do for the ex-love.

Should have taken the high road here since she’s the 24 year old woman here.
Should have insisted that she talked to Jun first to try to convince him to work it out with parents instead of throwing him to the wolves.

    Ugh.

    Weird writer.

  13. I haven’t seen it yet.

Too busy trying to catch a cockroach which ended up underneath the piano and I did try to get it out but no. 😩🤦🏻‍♀️

  14. Oh no! How do you know when the bug is gone??

I’ve only seen one roach inside our house, and it was a stowaway roach. 🤣🤣 We had a guest staying and it dropped out of his luggage!! Not kidding.

I need to watch another light-hearted romcom.

  15. My mom said it will just die there but I’m gonna keep looking out for it. It didn’t get out because I was watching where it was going. I even removed the couch. It wasted about 30 minutes of my time 😡😂 If someone was watching me this morning they’d have a good laugh.

There’s a lot of cdramas out but maybe just keep going with DITK?

Oh a reminder please for LLF? Episode 10, so you can close that chapter off? ☺️

  16. Oh yes LLF, Ep 10!! And I still have your pics to post. That should go last. 🙂

I hope it doesn’t lay eggs in there.

I’m not in the mood to watch DDSSLLS.

All I can see is Jun’s sad face as he looked back at Rara standing on the dock.

    So dramatic.

  17. Urgh I hate roaches! I hope you manage to get it @agdr!

@packmule given it was part of the epilogue, I’m hoping that they purposely left out some of the conversation to make it seem that Rara betrayed him? His mum might have told Rara more about how jun cannot keep being on the run etc, and may have convinced her that Jun going back is the best thing for him. And since Rara still doesn’t know his backstory, and she already feels the twinge of guilt from borrowing so much $ from him, she might have taken the path of noble idiocy and “gave” him up, for his own good. 😅

Poor Jun. He must have felt betrayed, not just by Rara but also Grandpa? His mother mentioned about calling Grandpa, which prob made him think Grandpa called his mum, though in reality grandpa wanted to but never got to because the police identified him first.

  18. I hope it doesn’t lay eggs too! 😩 But I’ll be vigilant. 😬

Poor Jun, first love/first relationship gone. 🙁

  19. Speaking of Jun’s sad face looking back, is this drama giving you cloy vibes? So many similarities: FL crashes into ML’s life and needs him to take care of her, ML is sad and has lost someone dear to a truck of doom, ML has a secret identity and is the only son of a rich and powerful family, the ahjummas rallying around the female lead, the OTP have a past connection. Even their separation was sorta similar to the one when they exchanged men across the border. 😅

Agree about needing a light hearted romcom, this one is starting to get way too intense and sad. I started on Shopping King Louie by the same writer, and am seeing the similarities in them, including nosebleeds and wishing on stars.

  20. Queen and @JT7, I got the roach! 🎉🎉🎉

I went back underneath the piano and I must have swung the broom stick harder this morning because when I saw it again it was lying down. At least I won’t have to worry about it.

  21. Thanks for replying to me @Snow Flower ☺️ Yes, it sounded and looked like it was Go Ara and LJW playing the piano together. The piano piece was very nice to listen too. ☺️

  22. E10 was just sad, so much for a light romcom drama, lol. I really liked Hae Young and Seungi Gi in this episode. The preview from EP11 show them wanting to break Jun out and like the BBQ party shows how much Jun has become a member of the community.

My fav line from this episode was when Jun finds out his mum didn’t tell his dad he’d ran away from home and he says “How could you do that? Running away from home, that was the loudest I could speak out against Dad”. Ahh Lee Jae Wook is so phenomenal.

I do think it’s a little odd that no one made the connection between Jun’s surname to the SunWoo Group considering 2 syllable surnames aren’t very common in Korea and they’d been curious about him. I’d like to believe they were being courteous enough to wait for Jun to search his story.

@JT7 I feel like from now on I will subconsciously look out for CLOY parallels!

Next week Wednesday seems so far away!

  23. I agree that it looked like RaRa betrayed Jun to his mother, but it seemed to me that she had little choice given how implacable the mother is. She caught RaRa speaking to Jun. I suppose RaRa could have refused outright and not gone to the meeting, but I think she was still so shocked by Jun’s reality that she probably didn’t even consider it. (Ref @packmule’s exploding cauliflower brain gif). The mother had the legal high ground given that Jun is a minor and a runaway. The net was closing in on him regardless, with the police actively involved as well as the family’s goons.

Ra Ra also may have perceived that the mother missed Jun and is worried about his situation. I suppose the mother thought she was protecting Jun from his father. I agree with @JT7, that we’ll probably get more information about this next week.

  24. @agdr: Way to go! Now you don’t need to worry about it anymore!

@Esst3: Haha yes. There’s also the piano, and growing plants!

@Fern: Yes agree wrt Rara. Also, she’d just woken up from being kidnapped. It would really have been exploding cauliflower brain for her. And the legal high ground bit was probably the reason why the writer made Jun to be only 18, so he would be forced to go home, and there would be an enforced separation for the couple.

While Jun’s mum is quite the thug in the way she deals with things, I sympathise with her somewhat. She’s caught in the middle, she genuinely cares for Jun but she probably also fears the husband. Also, what kind of husband sets his men on his wife as if she’s a criminal?? When mum accidentally stumbled onto one of the TWD gatherings I wondered if she might join them in the future. She probably could do with an outlet to vent.

The first half of the show was about building the romance as well as Rara’s growth, and I think the second half will move on to focus on Jun’s growth and the development of their relationship during this period of separation. While it was understandable how Jun had to run away the first round, he cannot keep running. If the show lets him escape again and he marries Rara while being on the run I think the story would feel hollow.

With the show’s focus on families (found or otherwise) and community, we will hopefully see how Jun’s family works through and resolves their issues. Perhaps they will deal with the other absent father (JaeMin’s) too. This period of separation is so very heartbreaking, but necessary for both Jun’s and Rara’s growth. I think the show’s message (through Grandpa’s very sweet, melty chocolatey love story) is that it’s ok (and sometimes necessary) to wait for love.

  25. Wait. The stalker isn’t DDSSLLS.

Even if he told Rara, “You moved to Eunpo because of me,” that was delusional ranting.

    Besides, he denied being DDSSLLS.

So, we’re back to Grandpa Kim, Dr. Cha, and Jun.

My bet is on Jun. He was telling her the truth that night.

Can’t be Grandpa Kim. He just learned how to use social media, and wouldn’t have known Rara from Eve so why would he invite her Eunpo?

Dr. Cha is definitely a possibility. He knew of Rara’s difficulty so he could have invited her to Eunpo. He could afford the piano. He played the piano and knew the significance of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” He kept her tiara. He showed up at the cafe for the meeting. His formal language (as Rara pointed out) matched DDLLSS’ language.

But why would he lie and tell her to meet in a month’s time because he was on a business trip?

    I’m going with Jun.

  26. It does not make sense to name the drama DDSSLLS if DDSSLLS were someone other than Jun.

But if Jun is DDSSLLS, why did he tell Rara that he was going on a business trip for a month?

  27. So he could arrange a real meeting when she wasn’t in bandages?

So he could make sure that she wasn’t a nutcase before revealing himself? 😂

Because he didn’t expect her to stay for a month and was giving her time to heal and leave?

Because, before their accident, he was really going somewhere for a month?

  28. Perhaps ddsslls needed to confirm both his and her feelings before revealing their identity. I think RaRa felt comforted by the texts and gifts from ddsslls. They filled a kindness void and a potential love void left by her father’s death and the abrupt cancellation of her marriage respectively. Thanks to the Stalker, RaRa knows that anonymous gifts can be danger signals, so perhaps won’t be charmed further. I hope that she will continue to become more independent.

I’m still wondering about the identity of the dead man and what has happened with the evil secretary. Looking forward to the next episode.

  29. I’ll agree with @JT7 and @Fern that Rara didn’t really have a choice especially after getting kidnapped and knowing Jun’s real age. Being confronted by his Mum, I’d just yeah, give him to her.

Maybe we will still get a proper breakup because from the preview it looks like Jun will try to do everything to get out of his house. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We will see.

If Jun is DDSSLLS then put him in the best boyfriend category too. 😊

  30. Ok, I would really love for it to be Jun. Going by the angle at which the byeolgram (@packmule another to add to your list of stars: byeol means star I think) pic was taken, it was more likely Jun/Doc. Grandpa as you mentioned hadn’t learnt to use social media yet, stalker was facing the other direction.

But! I still can’t help wondering if DDSSLLS is the well-dressed man, otherwise, why show those scenes? Also, our 4 “suspects’ were on the cable car tower… and though well dressed man doesn’t show up in those scenes, he turns up on the cable car tower later, in Rara’s dream.

I initially thought stalker might have killed DDSSLLS and impersonated him using his phone. I rewatched the bit on the body. Body was dressed casually, but they focused on the watch. And as if the show wanted to be sure we knew it belonged to the well-dressed man, they even included a flashback to the scene in Rara’s dream showing the guy looking at his watch. So it is THE watch for sure, but is the body the real owner of the watch, or was it planted on the body as a red herring?

Then a friend pointed out to me that while stalker sometimes dresses similarly to the well-dressed man, their clothes are slightly different. It’s likely to be 2 different people? Stalker wears a light blue shirt, pin-striped suit, and his shoes seem to have a greenish section. Well-dressed man wears a white shirt, plain black suit, and his shoes are brown.

I checked the scenes in which they appear and it’s as follows:
Ep 1: Getting dressed, it’s the well-dressed man (I’ll just call him WDM from now on), white shirt, black suit, watch, brown shoes.
Ep 2: Rara’s dream, white shirt, pinstriped suit, brown shoes, watch
Ep 4: Watching launch of Lalaland, white shirt, black suit
Ep 5: After Rara receives flowers, blue shirt, pin-striped suit, shoes (but too dark to see their colour) (this is obviously the stalker as the way his hair curls around his ears is distinctive)
Ep 6: Getting dressed before the meeting at cafe, it’s WDM again, white shirt, his wardrobe is exactly the same as in the Ep 1 scenes (hoodie on right, wire hanger on left)
Ep 7: Stalker turns up at cafe, blue shirt, greenish shoes, pinstriped suit. He’s wearing his silver watch.

There are so many red herrings I don’t know what to think anymore. But it seems like WDM is alive, given he pops up in the dressing scenes in Ep 6.

  31. Thanks for this, JT7.

I forgot that we still have a few more mysteries unsolved: like the identity of the dead man, the identity of the well-dressed man, whoever he is, and the whereabouts of the crooked secretary. Rara should get her father’s estate back.
