Blimey, I just realised that I missed last week’s episode – have been shredding my way through Legally Romance. I shall have to catch up today.
Waiting for my happy pill to be subbed and then watching it. I am enjoying the weekly banter and more so now that I am more accustomed to the gang with their quirks and dynamic.
Poor IW slept outside again. That’s 3 weeks in a row. He’s never slept indoors yet? 😂
The second half of the show was hilarious. I was particularly tickled by their choice of outfits for a spring date? 😂😂😂
Aww…JungHoon went on a date with his daughter. ❤️. And when GaIn showed up, he just called her Honey and they hugged. They obviously love each other very much. 🥰. They are the sweetest. He took her umbrella and held it for her 🥰. Looking forward to next week’s ep… Looks like there will be sweet scenes between the husband and wife.
In other news, Kim JunHo is dating his fellow comedian. I am happy he’s found love again. Now if only poor JongMin will find someone too. The poor man. His sense of fashion for the date was…eccentric 😂.

Why did I think that Dindin had a partner?
Yes, Jung-Hoon and Da-In are very good together. I like that he said she was funnier than the rest of the cast members. I will look forward to the rest of her visit. Their children must be beautiful – both have very nice faces.
Gosh, those guys running around like school children after little displays of affection between Jung-Hoon and Da-In! So funny.

I ended when they were guessing who the guest might be. Dindin thought they were being pranked and it’d be their director Geul Yi Bang (because she was absent and replaced by a male director for this episode. Supposedly she had covid). Hahaha.
I “ship” Dindin and Geul Yi Bang!!!
Also, Ravi’s prediction on the dress style of his teammates was spot on.
On Dindin’s style: “Dindin dresses up nicely. Sure his outfit could win some ladies’ hearts over but not in a way they’d want to date him. It’s more like they want to dress like him. ‘Where did he get that from?’ He steals ladies’ hearts in a different way.”
Hahaha. Did Ravi mean that the girls want to raid Dindin’s closet and borrow his clothes? BUT they don’t want to date him?
The director/editor’s comment however … it was harsh. lol. “Simply put, Dindin’s outfit is more desirable than he is.”
OUCH!!!!
On Inwoo’s outfit: “Inwoo dresses up normally but thre’s always one thing that’s an eyesore. For example, during his first time on the show, it was the yellow color of his pants that was an eyesore. Or he carries a tiny bag when he’s crazy tall. (then Ravi spots Inwoo) See? He looks fine but he got that sweater on his shoulders!”
Ravi uses the word “King batnae” again. Meaning, extremely annoying.
On JongMin’s outfit: “He’s the type that tries too hard and messes up.”
lol. Who wears a pink sweater with floral design on a date? He’s trying too hard to look like a boyfriend material that he ends up looking desperate instead. lol.
Jong-Min needs a stylist. Ravi and Jung-Hoon had the same overcoat – they think alike when it comes to style.

Back in Season 3, she was the most popular one of all the stylists because:
a. she’s cute.
b. she has the unenviable job of styling a person like Jongmin. There was only so much that she could do. If I remember correctly, she was called poop stylist?? (but don’t quote me on this).
Dear oh dear! Poor stylist of Jong-min.
Was it more a case of not being able to make the horse drink, or ‘A hog in armour is still but a hog?’ I wonder because he’s got a regular, friendly face and isn’t misshapen.

The current production director of 2D1N, Bang Geul Yi, is stepping down due to health reason. Her last day of filming is still TBD. I’ve heard of this reason before. Season 3 Director Yoo HoJin also stepped down due to his health. Although the trips are biweekly, it must be tiring to do the editing and planning. Wish her success in her future endeavors.
Will the director who helped out JongMin gut the anchovies replace her?
Was he the same director who filmed the last bit? He seem to be quite committed to the show and very energetic. But I liked Director Bang, too. It was funny to hear her cracking up with laughter behind the camera. There seemed to be a lot of mini inserts of her photo in 117/118. I understood that she had Covid, but perhaps there is something else as well. A pity, and I hope that she recovers well. 🙏
@packmule3 really? O that’s a shame. I wonder how the new PD will do. And if that will change the feel of the show. Anyway I didn’t watch enough of the past PD’s work to make any useful comment about changes even if that’s the case 😂.
Thanks for adding the transcripts of Ravi’s assessment of their attire. He was pretty accurate wasn’t he? I am growing really fond of him. He’s actually really funny. And he was so excited when they kept bringing up all the YB’s questions (old games they used to play and songs in their era etc). In fact all 3 of the “youngsters” were totally animated as they reminisced together.

JungHoon and GaIn are definitely in a relationship to aspire towards. They obviously talk to each other a lot and are still very much in love. ❤️. So nice to see a couple just naturally converse about just everyday stuff. When they talked about their relationship it really was sweet as they reminisced about their past. I wasn’t bored at all. I have never seen Cornellian cherries? But the yellow flowers are beautiful en masse.
Charades was hilarious. IW trying to act out Dirty Dancing 😂😂😂
And then that conversation about breastfeeding? 😂😂😂. The single guys were like…eh? You can’t drink alcohol or eat spicy food? I ate spicy food when I breastfed my babies. 😂. But I didn’t drink.
Most of this episode was about JungHoon and GaIn and their relationship. It was okay for me because it gave me an insight into JH the man. The games were fun to watch. JongMin in the multiplication game was hilarious. IW was picked out as “cute” (innocent like a child) by GaIn. My heart was in my mouth as he threw the darts (he’s not very good 😂. He really is sort of klutzy?). I think the other boys found it interesting to watch how their relationship functions. More of this couple next week. It’s a relaxing watch.
I’m watching this episode now. I’ve got travel envy of the Hanok Village. How lovely was that?
I thought it was funny at lunch that the losing team didn’t moan much. Dindin said he thought it was no use as Ga-in just wouldn’t give them any. He was correct – at least for a long while. Then she very obviously let her husband win because she said he would complain later. Ha.
When the topic was raised about advice for the two men who want to get married, Ga-in surprised them by saying enjoy your single life and date as much as possible because she hadn’t lived enough to form her own tastes before marrying young. I thought that was interesting. They may have been immature, but they grew together and have figured out how to make it work.
@Fern I thought that was interesting too – what GaIn said about dating and marrying young. But it was lovely to see them make it work. It’s obvious that they have deep respect for each other. That was lovely to see. Just little gestures, the hand holding, the gentle touches. DinDin was adamant that JungHoon was not playing fair or giving it his all so GaIn could win. 😂. She’s so competitive and JungHoon just indulged her. Looking forward to tomorrow’s ep.
NOO. Ravi is leaving for good. Not just for military service. With PD leaving and now Ravi…I was just starting to enjoy it. Ravi is one of the other members that I like. He’s quick witted and funny.

The original cast in Season 3 had a long run. When Kim Joo Hyuk left, they invited other guys to fill in, and it still felt the same bec the core was intact.
I want them to return the comedian Kim JunHo but he would steal the limelight from Moon Seyoon. 😂
O wait…glimmer of hope? For Ravi? Production says it’s only a temporary hiatus whilst he’s in the military? They want him back? 😮🙏

I haven’t even been watching the show for that long, but I’ll miss him as well. Among the younger men, he has become the most interesting to me. I wonder who will be hired in the interim?
