  1. Kalimera @Packmule3!

Of course I am ready! See you later too!

  2. I watched as far as episode thirteen in the hope that this show would eventually become emotionally engaging for ME. For a show about reincarnation it had no soul.

  3. Episode 13

I am very happy that my theory back in Episode 3 that DoHa stayed alive because the evil step dad was hurting Han RiTa / Kang Yeong Hwa came to be true!

To be honest with you if you didn’t see the Finale’s preview you would thought that things wouldn’t be okay. At least, we get to see a HEA approaching after some angst.

What was the most significant for me in this episode was the conversation that DoHa had with the Senior Monk, that made him realize what was the weakness of the evil step-dad.

DoHa: Let me ask you directly. The evil spirit from my previous life is trying to kill Kang Yeong Hwa. I can resolve its deep resentment if it has one, but how are you supposed to destroy this evil spirit? Do you…happen to know his weakness?

SM: His weakness is probably the reason why he exists. Just like a shost with a deep resentment needs to leave, a ghost that has no reason to stay needs to leave this world. It’s the same with the evil spirits, too. The solution to the problem usually lies in the things the ghosts obsess over. Because they’re tied up to their obsessions. Just like you.
    what are you obsessing over?

DoHa: The reason why I’m tied to this world isn’t because of obsession. It’s because of my foolishness that believed in deep resentment the moment she killed me. (Note: For some reason I think something is wrong with the translation here…🙄)

SM: A humble lotus seed became a talisman because of your desperate yearning to protect the one you love. Sometimes, yearning is…more powerful than resentment.

But the ghost who does evil things must only have resentment left. Observe what he’s obsessed with. The answer lies between the reason…you remained here and the evil spirit’s obsession.

Lastly, DoHa’s anguish when he realized that he will disappear, if his evil stepdad does was so intense. Kim DoHa-nim, you are not alone. Bravo to Kim Young Dae for bringing out the intensity of the scene!

Let us witness this confrontation and the end of the bad karma. *Fingers Crossed*

Finally Episode 14 is out and about.

The story concluded with a satisfactory ending. I was not expecting resolution in this lifetime for DoHa and Kang Yeong Hwa. At least I was prepared and I haven’t been heart broken, like in Goblin.

Anyway, it is a good show, even though some don’t like it and it is okay. The messages in the end are hopeful.

Joon Oh got another chance in life and he was being grateful for it. While Yeong Hwa lived every single day while being grateful and longing for DoHa. So their 1.500 karmic cycle ended and a new one opened for them.

The end was what I had envisioned from the very beginning. As I said it gave me Bulgasal vibes. I am glad they ended up meeting each other again. Such a deep and profound love both DoHa and Han RiTa / Kang Young Hwa had for each other, couldn’t end by being strangers in the end.

They met again in order to live ordinary together as they were supposed to be.

  5. Kalimera!

I wanted to write about something that has its significance.

When DoHa was alive in Kang Young Hwa’s reincarnation the moon we were always seeing was a full moon.

When both of them met in their newest reincarnation the moon’s phase was a new moon. So their story would continue from a frest start. ☺
