  1. Muchos Gracias @packmule3 this has been a fun watch so far. And I wouldn’t be enjoying nearly so much without this community And what this blog has taught me in watching with a more analytical eye.

  2. And safe travels!

  3. Safe travels @pm3! Thanks for the GIF(t)s! That scene and line on the bridge was touching. I was teary eyed. Can’t wait for Monday to enjoy the show with my favorite chinggus of BOD!

  4. Thank you, @packmule3. Safe and pleasant travels.

  5. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Thanks @pkml3! Have a good, safe and happy trip.

Looking forward to watching this!!! I may be able to squeeze in time to come and play here too! 🙂

  6. Howdy! I was butt slapping Monday to come quickly too. LOL!

I am so excited to watch this tomorrow.

The scene where JH was coming out of his fancy car with sunglasses on, and the penthouse that he rented for dinner were similar scenes to Business Proposal. That place was owned by Taemoo. hehehe

Thank you for the new thread Queen! Have a safe trip. 🙂

  7. Helloo everyone!

Firstly, thank you @pm3 for the thread.

    Now, on to Ep 5.

My child has a book. It’s a New York Times bestseller called “The Rabbit Listened”.

    A summary from Google-

“When something sad happens, Taylor doesn’t know where to turn. All the animals are sure they have the answer. The chicken wants to talk it out, but Taylor doesn’t feel like chatting. The bear thinks Taylor should get angry, but that’s not quite right either. One by one, the animals try to tell Taylor how to act, and one by one they fail to offer comfort. Then the rabbit arrives. All the rabbit does is listen . . . which is just what Taylor needs.

The Rabbit Listened is about how to comfort and heal the people in your life, by taking the time to carefully, lovingly, gently listen.”

That’s exactly what Na Ah Jong is. She’s the Rabbit to Ji-han.

She doesn’t offer solutions. Doesn’t judge, doesn’t pry at all. She just stands there silently and offers to witness everything that is unjust and unfair in his life. And then, she listens if he wants to talk. If he doesn’t, that’s fine with her too.

In the book, the Rabbit enables Tylor to dream again because he enables Tylor to heal himself by just being there no matter what. The rabbit doesn’t actually solve anything for Tylor. That’s done by Tylor himself.

Our Nasty Bee™️ has taken a leaf out of the The Rabbit Who Listened™️.

  8. Oh and have safe travels @pm3 !

@agdr03 LoL ! Butt slapping Monday hee hee hee hee… I actually pictured that in my head !

  9. @Arihsi – I love that analogy to the rabbit. At first I thought this episode was just a set up/transitional episode to advance the conflicts that have to be resolved before this series ends. But it ended up being quite moving in the end.

I’m still confused about how the mother ended up in the accident with Jihan and the reporter. It was a little clunky how the manager chose to share with AJ but I still think some info is missing.

No previews! I don’t like the direction its headed with CW and I hope they avoid it. Right now it looks like they have taken a page out of every CEO cdrama where the female friend who has been at the CEO’s side gets displaced by the one true love and the number 2 turns into a psychopath plotting and scheming.

  10. Thank you @Good Twin… I love that book.

There is a preview on TvN official Instagram. It seems Ji-han is begging forgiveness from various deities for coveting whom he thinks is his to be SIL. Poor fellow ! 😂

We have two SLs (I am terrible with names). One is psycho ex-bf and another is normal as yet female SL. The writers need a way out of this wedding. It simply CANNOT take place. Some scheming/ plotting has to be there in order to get the contractual wedding out of our FL’s hair.

  11. I agree that the accident and how everyone and their grandfather is considering Ji-han responsible for it is very confusing and unclear @Good Twin.

I’ll hazard a guess that the full story will be told by JH himself to AJ in what could be an emotionally charged / breakdown of his walls type of scene. But I’d keep my expectations very low after the debacle that was My Demon.

  12. Hah. I watched one episode of My Demon and didn’t continue. It sounds like the plot really went off the rails. I listed to a whole podcast where the hosts ranted about it.

  13. Also, what’s with the grandfather making a “deal” for Ji-han ? Is he an antique to be sold at shops ? For all intents and purposes, the grandfather has sold Ji Han to FSL (chae won?) in return of her handling a difficult project for the company. Sounds so illegal and twisted. Grandfather just wants to get push JH away from the family anyhow.

  14. I don’t know that what grandpa is doing is any worse than what JH has been doing in trying to manipulate DH. DH stood up for JH with CW despite DH being the victim of JH’s meddling. JH still has a growth arc to go through to become a worthy partner to AJ. I am imagining a Pride and Prejudice type scene where JH (Mr Darcy) reflects back in embarrassment at his behavior.

  15. Ah. Now that you mention, yes. JH, our Rose with Many Thorns™️. About DH and JH, both are equally bad as Chae Won points out. DH doesn’t care about what JH is going through with the grandfather and half-siblings… Somehow DH is saved the blame of accident???

And like you pointed out, JH is manipulative and doesn’t care about what DH wants.

None of them care about the other.🙄 It’s tough to maintain her sanity for uri Nasty Bee™️. Fortunately, she’s a bee that knows to sting, otherwise none of the brothers deserve her.

  16. The epilogue was interesting. More in vino veritas from JH (or drunken muttering).
Hey, Han Young Hun (the slimy blind date). You punk, you better apologize. What’s wrong with my mom? Apologize to Na A Jeong.

There seem to be a number of reveals about JH’s mother Hyun Soo Hyun. Why was JH playing out in the rain. It didn’t look like he was out there by his choice.

At the mausoleum we have the secretary’s explanation (maybe correct, probably not a complete account):
“It looks like a reporter had visited. He was curious about the truth of the only daughter of a conglomerate family who suddenly disappeared without a trace. Mr Ji Han probably knew nothing about what kind of a person his mother used to be.”
    Reporter: Hello, kid.
    JH: Who are you?
Reporter: Your mother’s name is Hyeon Soo Hyeon, right?
JH: Do you know my mom?
Reporter: Of course. I’m your mom’s friend. It’s pouring. Let’s go home.

Secretary: What would an eight-year-old kid even know? He said he was his mother’s friend and that he’ll take him home. He was excited and said yes.
It rained a lot that day. He was trying to lose the re porter and ended up in an accident. Chairman said he still doesn’t understand why he had decided to do that. One thing that’s for sure is he still regrets that decision to this day.
AJ: I’m sure it was the same for Grandfather but it was too cruel of an accident for Lee Ji Han.
Secretary: That’s why Mr Ji Han still hates rainy days the most. I guess he’s reminded of that day.

There are a lot of un-named pronouns, but my guess is Hyeon Soo Hyeon was at home with her partner/children’s father. He bundled them into the car and attempted to escape from the reporter. It’s not clear to me if Do Han was there or not. Somehow Grandfather got there and joined in the chase, as he was shown there trying to get to his daughter in the overturned car. Had he come to the house and had JH been sent outdoors to not overhear what the grown-ups were speaking about?

I’m not sure I’m really happy with AJ repeating the car chase with JH in the passenger seat. I guess she was trying to avoid putting JH in the path of the reporter. But maybe that’s me, Mrs Please Drive Sensibly. I’d welcome thoughts about that scene.

It seems that the most upsetting thing to JH wasn’t the reporter causing a scene, but the fact that his grandfather didn’t take him into the car with him after all. DH handed his keys to JH and asked him to take care of AJ. I think DH was only trying to keep JH and Yoon Chae Won apart, but it made JH seem isolated from the rest of the family. AJ hadn’t been asked to return to the house with the others, so JH was assigned to bring her home. Interestingly, she ends up driving.

I liked the scene of AJ returning to the mausoleum to apologise to Hyeon Soo Hyeon, to explain her position and her promise to take care of HSH’s son. The little umbrella (from the drink) was touching.

  17. @Arihsi, I wondered if Grandfather actually thinks that if DH is going to marry AJ, maybe JH and Chae Won might make an honestly well-matched couple, better than DH and Chae Won. Especially if she likes him. (Similar to how he thinks AJ likes DH.) He is VERY reluctant to let Chae Won go – he is very fond of her and her abilities. Of course, there should be a discussion involving JH, but this is another arranged marriage trope. Things are getting very messy.

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!”

  18. What do you think it means when JH says to AJ “you seem to enjoy looking up at trees you cannot climb”. He says it to her when she tells him she was trying to get on his good side so he would support the marriage.

I really like her as a FL – she is tough and principled. It’s funny I read comments on mdl (usually a mistake) and some can’t get their head around the fact that the characters have flaws. That is what makes this drama work – none of the leads are perfect. Two perfect leads made King the Land boring – all the adversity came from outside forces. Here we will see character growth. There are lies, manipulation, half truths and brutal honesty. But at the heart of it there is a profound connection between the siblings and AJ as the best friend to DH and increasingly JH’s confidante.

  19. Loved episode 5 for all the comedy that it offered, especially FL hitting ML with bag of clothes.

I think grandfather knows the older brother is gay and is trying to be more forgiving so he allowed the marriage since that what was wanted.

I can’t believe the female daughter of the tycoon who had been divorced at least twice and should know that something is up between ML and FL is still trying to force herself on ML. Here comes divorce #3!

Love FL’s family and her friends. Even enjoyed that FL ripped into ML for not being grateful with the mother’s cooking and how she videotaped him. Those scenes video and other flashbacks were so funny!

And the whole accident needs a better explanation- I’m so confused!

  20. @Kelly – him insulting mom’s cooking will not be soon forgotten. I look forward to the scene where he has to make it up to her. I too appreciated her hitting him with the shopping bag (violence is never the answer). Where would kdramas be without overheard conversations?

Why do you think CW was divorced more than once? I thought she had the single marriage that JH (meddling per usual) tried to stop in the flashback.

  21. @Kelly, gosh, in the drama of the ending scene and epilogue, I had almost forgotten the humorous bits. Exiting the cab upside down and dancing to the alarm strobe. And the shopping bag slap. Earlier in the drama, I thought we might be avoiding tropes, but that was better than kimchi, right? And just near the end we had a slip and catch, so the tropes are multiplying.

@Good Twin, one must never insult home cooked meals, right? Especially when one can’t remember why one is in that location. 😜😆

I totally agree with you that the main characters are all flawed. Even the FL, who in other dramas might take the savior role. She keeps breaking character in the sense that she can’t seem to remember that she is supposed to be engaged to DH. When she overheard JH’s employees say that she wasn’t JH’s type, she reacted out of pique to say that he had left his clothes at her house to purposely be overheard. (I was yelling at the screen.) Not to mention going on a travel date with JH, just to prove she could resist him.

I thought JH’s words to AJ, “You seem to be looking up at trees you cannot climb.” simply meant you are attempting the impossible.

I’m curious about how DH’s ex will scar him. Scar is the word used by Viki subs, I don’t know about others. Did you have a look at that scary portrait DH was painting? Compared to his other, brighter works? Who is it?

  22. I can’t help thinking, if DH wasn’t so afraid of being outed (and perhaps disowned), things might actually be working out fine. JH wouldn’t have met AJ and he might have been happy enough to marry CW who likes him and is supporting his project. He would have had a stable position in the conglomerate and have been able to prove his worth openly. In that position, JH could have made sure that DH wasn’t disowned or at least that DH had his share of the family income even if he chose to live abroad.

We haven’t actually been told why DH is so afraid, so are left to think it’s a feeling of shame, fear of reprisal, and/or worry of being disowned socially or financially. I think if he had told JH earlier, when the marriage was first mentioned, JH might have been more sympathetic. Now DH is backed into a corner and responding with the threat to disown JH as his brother if he doesn’t back off. I like this writing, because we know that DH has been told by the housekeeper that JH is dependent on him and DH is using this knowledge as a weapon now.

I’m starting to have some sympathy for the step-sister, who took the blame for her brother’s mistakes, apparently multiple times, and the Grandfather knows this. She is being shuttled aside in the corporation although she seems very capable. She, too, has been backed into a corner. Although I don’t like her and don’t approve of her tactics of spying and blackmail, I can see the reasons. She is trying to keep a united front with her weak brother, who really doesn’t appreciate her enough.

  23. Howdy Chinggu’s!

I just finished the episode and it had a bit of everything didn’t it? It was funny, sad, scary, violent (lol), nasty, honest and gentle.

I really like that AJ can pick up on how JH is feeling. I like that she said to him, you can just tell me and I will listen.

I can’t believe Grandpa just ‘sold’ JH to CW. Oh I can’t wait till he knows about it. But it’s too late because when CW said to DJ about JH not passing on his love for her, we go to the scene where JH says to himself that his gone crazy. Crazy because he realized then that he likes AJ. Good ending! 🙂

PS. Has JH ever called DH, Hyung? It bothers me that I haven’t heard him call him that. Unless I missed it in the subs?

  24. Dearest @agdr03, I hope you’re doing well. ❤️ According to my subtitles, JH only calls DH hyung and nothing else.

I need some assistance @Good Twin, @Fern, @agdr03 et al.

    NOT a spoiler

The epilogue of Ep 6 has a tilted jar full of colourful origami swans. The swans overflowing out… I remember JH saying he makes them when he’s anxious? Do I remember it correctly? If not, what else could be the significance? It’s a very prominent shot.

Like AJ, patience is not my virtue 😂 I’m positively going bananas trying to place where I saw that scene I remember wrt anxiety and unable to find it… Help, pretty please? A k-beauty pretty please…

  25. @Arihsi, I can’t remember anything earlier about origami. I will watch ep. 6 tonight. If something triggers my memory, I will be sure to post.

I can only offer this about origami crane: It symbolizes honor, good fortune, loyalty, and longevity. These formidable characteristics give the crane such special meaning and why the Japanese believed that anyone with the patience and commitment to fold 1,000 origami cranes would be given good fortune and granted a wish.

There was a heart-breaking book called 1000 Cranes. In Seattle, there is a little Peace Park with a statue of a girl and people decorate it with origami cranes.
    https://www.seattle.gov/parks/allparks/peace-park

  26. When he asked advice on the internet on how to stop thinking about someone (I like how this drama plays with all the classic tropes), he was told to fold a 1000 origami cranes – advice he initially rejected as life is too short and who has time for that.

When AJ said she wanted to get married in a buckwheat field her friend asked if she was Lee Na Young (FLRomance is a Bonus Book). I looked it up and this actress got married in a wheat field! Too funny!

  27. Well spotted, @Good Twin!

I saw a buckwheat field in bloom only once. It actually was very pretty – white and frothy. I can see why it would be a lovely setting for an outdoor wedding.

  28. Can I just say that y’all are in for a treat when the families meet for dinner. I spit out my coffee laughing!

  29. Thank you sooo much @good twin and @Fern for your quick replies! You guys are the best ! Please accept 🍪🍪 from me.

No wonder I can’t find that scene, I don’t think it exists at all ! Maybe I saw something related to Origami in another drama ? Maybe I read something on the internet about Origami and how one can use it against anxiety? My wonderful brain cooked a stew out of all this and presented to me ?

Who knows? The secret workings of my brain are unknown to me as yet.

P.S. I distinctly remember a scene with JH handing some small yellow stuff to someone (not AJ). My task for rest of the week would be to hunt it down like a crazy woman.

  30. @Good twin, I find AJ’s family so endearing ❤️ We came to know that DH worries for JH too, he’s just not the sort of person who can take care of others very well.

I saw the epilogue after reading both your comments again. My heart sort of skipped a beat… Ji Han doesn’t know this whole marriage thing is a sham. He is crushing his own feelings not for his brother’s happiness but for a lie. It’s going to break his heart when the truth comes out. It’s a double betrayal. Both his favourite people, for so long, in his face, kept lying.

  31. In the advice he is given from random commenters in the internet he is also told to walk along a famous stone road the “Mecca of break-ups”. I believe that is the walled road they are on in the final scene. This drama would be a fun one to do a live rewatch with. There is always something more to unpack

  32. I would definitely want to re-watch this one @Good twin. But it’ll heavily depend on AJ’s decision to reveal the truth. As @agdr03 points out, AJ is very good at picking up JH’s feelings. She’s generally speaking quite honest too. She or DH didn’t expect this marriage thing to blow out of proportion like this. She’s already picked up that something is amiss with JH. I want her to be the one to tell him the truth because she cares about him.

  33. He definitely knows he is love with her. I don’t think she knows yet that she is in love with him – (open for debate). Since I like Jane Austin, I think AJ will be like Emma and won’t know her own heart until she experiences jealousy probably because of CW.

  34. Hmmm… Possible. But then what ? She has to at some point tell him that the marriage was fake. I don’t understand the point of the wedding anyway because the initial plan was for DH to get renounced by his family, move to New York and live life with a partner of his preference. None of it is going to be possible now due to this marriage being approved by both families.

I’m very interested to know how the FL gets out of this mess of epic proportions once she realises not just her love for JH but the enormity of the goof up.

  35. Anyeong chinggus! I’m watching but don’t have time to write comments yet. Will be reading your comments soon.

All I can say for now is I love this OST called “8” and I noticed it being played during scenes of AJ and DH alone and talking. Here’s the youtube link with English translation.
It’s interesting that the Wedding Impossible logo has a couple of guns crossed aside from the princess tiara. I hope no one will be physically or mortally hurt in upcoming episodes.

  36. @Arihsi, the advice to make 1000 paper cranes comes in episode 6, at about 8.46. You aren’t crazy.

At Deoksu palace’s Stone Wall Road (which a netizen described as the Mecca of breakups), JH hands AJ one of the 1000 cranes he has been folding to get over her. The only advice he hasn’t heeded was the first of 3, from dating expert Danbi: “It’s simple. Just confess your feelings. You naturally forget when you get rejected with humiliation.” At least, I don’t think JH actually tried that yet.

I think this is a very han moment – a ‘it will not happen in this life’ decision. JH saw AJ, he spoke to her, he didn’t lose his cool. He has decided to move on albeit grieving the possibility of their relationship, perhaps with the help of CW. I have a feeling that the time spent with CW made him feel valued even if he’s surprised by her subtle statements of affection. I quite admire her for not mentioning seeing the photos of him and AJ. I think because CW could see him struggling and actually knew what he was going through, she could gently offer him an option – another path revealed as the priest advised.

Oh, yes. JH will be hurt by the revelation. DH will be hurt when he finds about the travel date. Everyone will be hurt except perhaps the malicious ones. I wonder about who will initiate the reveal to the families. Will it be DH’s ex-partner, the journalist, a family member, DH himself or AJ? I wonder as well, how AJ will untangle it and yes, @Good Twin, how AJ will feel when she sees JH with CW.

  37. Oh, the introduction dinner was hilarious. AJ was more worried about the snobby brother-in-law Choi Min Woong than about her sister’s husband Jo Tae Min who she described as ‘a madman with dim eyes’. Because at the meal, instead of being insulted by the future BIL, JTM politely asks the BIL when he will stop causing accidents for the company; he’s curious because he’s a share-holder.

I tried to look the phrase up, but couldn’t find anything as a synonym.

  38. @Fern that is where I spit out my coffee. She called her BIL a madmen with dim eyes (or something like that I am assuming this expression is something similar to wolf in sheep’s clothing or crazy like a fox). I thought the BIL’s feeling she was worried about was JH’s feelings. I’ll have to rewatch that scene. It was very clever how they cut back and forth to the dining scene and DH and AJ’s plotting. Grandpa’s warmth, graciousness and class were all on display. He may be misguided but he is not evil or heartless. I

  39. I sort of got the idea that AJ was calling Jo Tae Min something like crazy and oblivious. (Dim eyes meaning poor or little eyesight?) I didn’t have the feeling that he was reciprocating the insults but if he was, it is even better! DH was worried that his older half-brother would bully the weakest person in the family.

I like the Grandfather. I think he’s trying to do right by everyone. It made me wonder if what happened with his daughter’s marriage was that she wasn’t allowed to marry the man she loved – the boys’ father – and the Grandfather is trying to make up for that mistake by allowing DH to marry for love, or so he thinks.

  40. Howdy! I haven’t watched episode 6 but this drama is like a nice cocktail. I am enjoying it. Oh wait, I haven’t had cocktail in awhile but you know what I mean. hahaha

  41. I swear the screenwriter knows Jane Austen, when CMW dismisses the BIL’s claim to being a novelist with “if you go to the golf course, you’re a golfer” and “ajhumma must be a chef” it brought to mind Lady Catherine de Bourgh in Pride and Prejudice telling Elizabeth Bennet that “If I had ever learnt [piano], I should have been a great proficient. And so would Anne, if her health would have allowed her to apply.” That line always makes me laugh!

  42. Nice parallel, @Good Twin!

I thought it interesting that JH was placed far down the table across from AJ’s little nephew and the camera really points that out. Again, in Austen terms, their placement is showing their inferior status to the rest of the group. Do you remember when the newly wedded Lydia visited and insisted on getting the place above the eldest sister Jane?

@agdr03, you are in for a treat with episode 6.

  43. Yes @Fern – he got seated in the least auspicious spot!

  44. @Janey, I have the whole OST playing on repeat while working all morning. I love it especially 8 and Butterfly. 🙂

Thanks @Fern, I’m looking forward to it.

  45. @Arihsi, hi! Thank you for replying to me. 😘

Don’t mind me, I don’t even know why I’m not hearing JiHan say hyung to DoHan 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I’ll make sure to hear it properly tonight when I watch episode 6.

  46. Aww JH saying to everyone while looking at AJ that she’s a good person.’ I felt sad for him. He tried hard to get over his feelings. The family meeting was funny. I like the convo with the BIL and AJ’s older brother. He got him there. LOL!

I want AJ to be the one to see through JH that he likes her and to tell him that the marriage is fake. But this is a drama so we shall see. 🙂 I can totally see AJ getting jealous of CW. I can’t wait for that.

I will rewatch it again because of the differences in subs.

I actually miss our main leads in this episode. They didn’t really have a lot of scenes together. You’re right about the han moment @Fern 🙁

  47. @agdr03 you are most welcome cara. Can I please suggest you watch on HiTV ? They have manually translated subtitles meaning there is a human translating the material instead of an LLM (Language Learning Model aka AI). I was uncomfortable with difference in meaning of a dialogue as I indicated in a previous ep thread so I did some “research”.

I took n=3 different streaming sites with n=2 episodes and found HiTV to be the best !

    Example ep 4 end.

“You make me feel uneasy” vs “you make me feel sorry”. AJ is uneasy not sorry for JH. Vast difference. The word she uses is directly translated as “unease”. She doesn’t use a word for sorry. HiTV did a far better job at translating local idioms and phrases too.

  48. Example #2 end ep 4

AJ asks – “Did you eat honey?” In relation to JH not protesting the slimy date.

    JH – I don’t eat sweet stuff.

AJ – ah look ! You answer back to me all the time !

Next in ep 5 we cut to him spitting out honey water because he doesn’t like sweet stuff.

  49. JH showed he is self-aware that he is falling for AJ. I am kinda biased on guy liking the girl first. Tee-hee. I laughed when he was scolding his feet, hands and head! LOL!

And being the one-track minded JH, he had resolved to forget that he liked AJ so he tried the following:
    – church confession (he actually wanted exorcism!)
    – chanting with yoga poses (?)
    – get busy at work
    – get busy with extra curricular like yoga, exercise, learning English, karaoke
    – folding a thousand cranes (love the jar of colorful cranes in the epilogue)

Yet in all these, he sees AJ everywhere. After confession, he seemed enlightened (ray of light at his back), then his phone rings and AJ was calling and the phone the same ray of light. While following the chants on his computer, as he was swiping, pictures of AJ came out. While learning English, he kept saying to himself not to cross the line, he does not like her. Lo and behold, the language workbook had AJ on the cover! During karaoke, she was in the video (I kind of expected that to happen). In the park, she photobombed the couple he was taking photo of. Sigh, I feel for the guy! But it was fun to watch these moments. He did not surrender to it though, in the end of ep6, he gave her the paper crane and said goodbye (he broke up with his crush at the famous wall). I think what gave him resolve was CW’s confession.

Now, we have the FL entering a fake marriage and the ML in an “arranged” relationship. Both are actually good friends with their respective partners and these relationships seem like a safe bets. I think the upcoming episodes will show this. Will JH and AJ break out of their “safe bet” relationships and try to be with each other and have a chance to be truly happy and in love?

  50. @Janey what a nice summary. Too funny the list of all his efforts to get her out of his head. Her showing up in the karaoke video made me laugh along with his extra extra singing. I think the first half of the show has done a nice job at creating a chaotic muddle that will have to be resolved in the next half.

  51. Dear peoples,

I enjoyed the very cute, old-fashioned, original Kdrama rom-com type pre-release.

Based on that, I think our Nasty Bee™️ hyeongsu-nim will move into JH’s room ! After all, she and DH can’t possibly sleep together. JH might willingly give up his living quarters under the pretext of age herirarcy.

I am excited to see if uri Nasty Bee will find some clues there to move the story forward. I certainly hope so !

Additionally, the actress playing AJ has done a lot of action roles previously. I saw her proper action scenes in “Ballerina” (I haven’t seen the movie and don’t plan to. It’s violent).

She’s already shown to throw some punches in JH and DH’s defence. It’d be so cool if elder step-sister were to send some goons to bother JH and AJ beats them into a pulp before they can do much as lift a finger towards JH… Pure old fashioned fun, I say !

Somehow I think older step sister will very likely do something along those lines after her conversation with CW… NO to truck-nim please.

  52. Thank you @Arihsi for recommending to use HiTV. Muwah!

I’ve never heard of it before. I will check it out. Yes, definitely it’s best to get as closest to what the writer wants the characters to say.

I’m excited for the next 2 episodes. 🙂

I’m waiting on AJ and JH’s first kiss!!!

  53. Oooo @agdr03 me too ! Me too !

They haven’t even hugged as yet. I wonder what situation the kiss will be in ? A fervent “oh, thank God you’re ok?” Or a confession type a la MMH ?

I hope it’s not a drunken “oh I don’t even know what I’m doing and I don’t care for your consent” prototype. I don’t really care for those or the wide open eye “surprise kiss again I don’t care for your consent”. The latter are a k-drama speciality but somehow I feel it won’t suit either AJ or JH here. It’ll be seriously out of character for both.

  54. @Arihsi, I prefer a kiss after a love confession from either AJ or JH. They are pretty honest with each other so I hope that will still be the case once AJ realizes that she likes JH. 🙂

I really don’t like drunk confessions. hehehe

  55. Yes @agdr03… No to drunk confessions or drunk kisses for me too.

Yes to the point you make about honesty and yes to kiss post confession and consent. MMH did it beautifully ❤️
