Because I am so distractible my old dog, a Lhasa, thinks I am a bit of a dummy. I can see her thinking, “ok, now lets try this in words of three letters and a big mime — TIME TO GO OUT SO I CAN BARK AT THAT NEIGHBOR DOG PEEING ON THE FLOWER BEDS!!!”
@IB, I do wonder why cats always have that air of arrogance. They merely deign to be petted and loved but they don’t need humans.
Reminds me of what Hui Ju says to her father that she wants help to save the Grand Prince because she can save herself. She doesn’t need anyone’s protection!

Love is in the air — and JH is [deaf and..well, a bit dim. Lee El and Kim Min Seok lend color and fun to this story. They are the best.

So now we see that Hae Gong and Publisher Dok have something going on.
@WE, yes, Publisher and Hae Gong have been secretly dating.
HG wants JH to also start dating NW. Publisher senses something dark deep inside JH. It’s his grief for his dead school friend, Soo In, whom he had liked.
It’s interesting that he has an imaginary conversation with his dead friend. It comforts him. However the swing next to his can move all by itself… spooky!!!
Yeah, there is something ‘deep’ and ‘dark about JH — he talks to the ghost of his deceased by suicide girlfriend.
Seems love is in the air this episode. Even Vet Lee tries his luck with Na Woo. He may have become a vet because she had said that a veterinarian ws her idea type for a boyfriend. Poor sap. She does not even recall saying that and she barely gives him a second thought.
So we learn that he has been having these conversations, but also realize that this might be the last one. Nice compression.
We dont learn anything more about her, just that she is grateful that he liked her.
@IB, now JH is not only deep and dark but neglectful of his messy home and lazy!
LOL Bok Gil wants the human gone. Se needs her alone time. I know how that feels!!!

@WE and @IB so JH has been set up by Hae Gong to meet alone with Na Woo.
She cannot even ride a bike so he’s stuck teaching her. She naively/innocently or worse, foolishly does not know why HG is not joining them.
@GB, I think we start to see NW more clearly. She is good at nicely getting people to do what she wants/needs them too. As a person who was apparently really sick for a long time, she is a mixture of mature and immature.
We find out that Na Woo is a photographer who can hold her own exhibitions. That means she must be pretty good.
Another stray kitten calls out. Angry neighbour comes out to catch the cat and silence it.
@IB, I found NW quite tiresomely intrusive and a bit of a stalker before but she improves over time. Well the Vet gets to see the stray kitten.
Vet Lee wants the opportunity to search for the kitten’s mother with NW but is confounded by JH who wants to do it himself. NW is only too happy to go with JH.
There is a flashback of Na Woo in the scene with the cat, it foreshadow (again) that Bog Gil was her cat. Strangely, I didn’t see the plot-twist coming during first watch, while it is prepared two times before.
Chicken soup looks yummy. Ecstatic cat! But now he wants to play! She just cant keep her human in line!
@WE how would you like to be nagged by your pet? Fortunately cats are mostly silent. A dog would have barked a lot.
We see how JH had found Bok Gil in the rain. BK now looks so much older.
The love relationship JH wants is with BK and no NW LOL.
@WE, that flashback, it is prep, but it goes down easily as a way that NaWoo is ‘teaching’ him to think about others’ feelings more than he had before.(That is a little heavy to say about his relationship to his highschool girl but true, he was full of him self then)
Oh, she wan’t her cat back. But it was just a kitten back then. And she said she was happy if someone take care of lost cat. !!
Cat story cliffhanger? What clued NW in — was it the BokGil baby pictures?
It’s quite typical that people does the opposite of what they say in kdramas.
@IF, yes, it’s the pictures because there is the bell necklace probably.
The bell always confused me — she didnt recognize her own bell when she returned it with the nice collar?
@IF, I’m not sure of it, I don’t remember she saw it.
But it can be a plot-hole?

Dal Po and In Ah are in the ambulance, he has just woken up from a faint after he hit his head and she is completely losing it, ranting on…
Dal Po reaches over, pinches her lips shut and say to the EMT persoon (viki sub) “I am sorry for making such a fuss. Can you please let us off (here)?”
But this time they are also a family, absurdly, she is weeping on, calling him Uncle. As well as being each others’ one and only eventually, I assume.
So the big brother stance works seamlessly and also comically here.
The corollary suggested is that the corporate body structure gives space for the occasional complete random collapse of decorum on the part of any member as long as another hangs around long enough to give him/her a piggyback home.
Which he does and it is a lovely scene.
