Bitch Talk: What Are We Watching in Aug 2022?
Here’s my update on my drama schedule this month. I’m watching “Love Like a Galaxy” but I’ve decided I’ll mimic the way most drama viewers watch shows, and not bother to understand the plot. The impressions I got from this pseudo-historical are that a) all Chinese mothers are the real power behind the throne, b) […]

Here’s the synopsis from mydramalist. Yoo Se Poong’s legendary abilities as a physician are well-known in the royal palace. Nonetheless, he was expelled from the royal court when his involvement in a conspiracy against the royal family came to light. He moves and begins work in the strange, but, beautiful, Gyesu Village. Alchemy of Souls: Ep 12 On BoYeon, For Snowflower
@Snowflower asked this question in the other thread. @pm3, I was also wondering if Jang Gang put another baby’s soul into baby Bu Yeon. Or is it possible that he summoned the soul of BY back into her own body? Either way, if BY is a soul-shifter, she should have gone wild. Why hasn’t she? […]
Today’s Webtoon: Eps 1 & 2 Open Thread
The thread is open. I’m not sure if Kim SeJeong will continue her success. She got good exposure from “The Uncanny Counter” (2020) and she hit it out of the park with “Business Proposal.” source: yesdrama’s tumblr But I’m rooting for her. And the actor who’s playing Master Lee in “Alchemy of Souls.” Here he […]
Alchemy of Souls: Ep 7 On Mage Cho
I’ve been silent about this because I was waiting to see if people would pick it up. Back in Episode 7, when Yeo Heom revealed to Yul that Naksu’s father was a soul-shifter, Yul didn’t follow up with LOGICAL questions. This is what Yeo Heom told Yul: YH: Naksu’s father, Cho Chung, was a soul […]
