  1. I agree! 🙌🏻 I want a nice sweet ending for JH and JW because they more than deserve it.

    Thank you! 🙇🏻‍♀️

  2. I was surprised to read that NIW will begin his military service after the trip. He is only 29. He seems so much older.

  3. I think it’s just that he plays his part of silent, mature, non-smiling but overflowing with love Ji Hyuk that well. He’s grown on people’s hearts (and heads) with this drama. Well done NIW !

  4. Kalimera @PAckmule3!

Finally, the story I have been waiting for! This Chakkanim knows her craft pretty well! BTW, @Arihsi, I have written something for you in the previous thread…*winks*

P.S. Na In Woo is enlisting in the army…

  5. Where where where @cleo ? I went to Ep 12-13 thread but cnt find your comment there ?? I don’t get email notifications of my tag !

  6. Can’t*

  7. @Arihsi,

Kalimera! I left you a message on the previous thread to spot it!

  8. Oh my GAWD. I have no words. No matter whether one likes the story or not, what a cast, what A cast, all inclusive ! I’m speechless at the acting prowess I saw in this episode!

  9. The only character I don’t like is the grandpa. I wish he was not so inactive, ineffective and passive! He got on my nerves, not Su Min… SHE is none of those. She was awesome in a villan way) in this ep. She and MW both !

  10. A specific mention –

There is a very peculiar line ment to insult Ji Won and indicate that she has nothing to offer to Ji Hyuk.

“What do you see in her ? She’s just skin and bones!” Min Hawn says.

Does this come directly from PMY the actress’s personal bag of insults ? She’s had it very rough with continuous negetive commentry on her weight.

It’d be so cheeky of the director to do this knowingly ! Like look, you as a viewer feel so bad when her character is referred to that way, and you have the audacity to say this to her as a real person?

  11. What an episode! Brilliant played and executed! 🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌

  12. @Cleopatra – I agree I thought they did a great job of navigating a difficult plot. JW and JH have to avoid their fate but at the same time they can’t be the agent of death without becoming unsympathetic characters. As much as I didn’t like Episode 14 for its violence it did reinforce what a horrible person MH is/was and that he would murder her again if he hadn’t been interrupted. I thought they threaded the needle well keeping the OTP mostly above the fray. There is so much plot that still needs to be resolved though including grandpa, little sister and the chef, Yura monster, the sidekick (is he cooperating with JH or not?), the parents – I don’t think they’re dead, and of course Su Min. That is a lot to pack into one episode.

  13. @Good Twin,

Kalimera! In this dramaverse and the way the chakkanim is dealing with the concept FATE, she shows us that if you want to overcome your fate someone else has to take it. Period. Not an easy thing to deal with.

Manager Yang’s matters started to solved miraculously, after the incident with Min Hwan. The video was retrieved when they said it wouldn’t, because it was destroyed.

I think in the first twenty minutes, tonight, Su Min and Yu Ra will be dealt, in order to leave space for all the other plots to take place!

I agree with @Arihsi, about Haraboji. I mean Yura tried to kill Ji Won and his grandson took the shot and he is seeing Yura like nothing happened at all. I don’t know how he is keeping his cool.

Still, It is one show that didn’t disappoint me scriptwise and I am impressed by the way the chakkanim and PDnim dealt with this material.

The acting is also top notch! I mean we have two actors, Lee Yi Kyung and Song Ha Yoon, who did a great job by portraying the characters of the baddies, Min Hwan and Su Min respectively! Yes, we can talk about Park Min Young and Na In Woo, but we need to give credit where credit is due!

I think this is a show that we won’t forget for what it delivered to us! It gave us so many themes to ponder about!

  14. Whilst I agree with you regarding “transfer of fate” angle @cleo, I’m sure you have noticed that at each point, the baddies are given a CHOICE. They have free will to determine what they will do in each situation. Like Ji Won notes, “Min Wahn could have stopped himself on several occasions.” But he doesn’t, does he ?

His behaviour is criminal towards not only Ji Won but also Ji Hyuk (MW hits first+ the despicable talk in the jail), Su Min, his parents, his company (he swindles money from the corporate card)… Everyone.

Ji Hyuk note, “It’s not because of Ji Won that you were destroyed. You were destroyed because of your own despicable/trashy personality.”

Yes ok fate transfer but it’s equally their own Karma as we’ve discussed before.

  15. I agree with you that this show is a lot of fun @cleo 😁 I’m so glad I started and am all geared up for the finale ! I’m surely going to do a re-watch soon. I joined at ep 10 so I’ve plenty of unwatched moments!!

  16. @Arihsi,

I am going to rewatch it as well, but some time later on.

I agree with what you said, we have some unethical characters that could make a different CHOICE, but they didn’t. They kept being bad and toxic throughout the show.

When someone is doing bad deeds, they get KARMA. Although, it is simple as that, yet we see that in Min Hwan’s, Su Min’s and Yura’s POV, they believe that they are not doing anything wrong.

Su Min continues to believe she is a victim, when she is an oppressor.
Min Hwan always says that other people are in fault for his own wrongdoings.
Yura is a spoiled rich lady who believes that poorer people are not a match for her and she can do whatever she likes with them.

Every single one of them, not only they are harming other people with their actions, they are unethical human beings. Without the realization that they are evil all along. Since they don’t reflect on their actions. They have created a bubble where their victims are to blame. Since they don’t have any remorse of their bad deeds they will punished.

Min Hwan already did. Now, it is time for Yura and Su Min.

  17. I really enjoyed the conclusion!

What a show! Bravo to everyone who worked really hard for this story to come to life! 🎈👏

    More tomorrow! 👌

  18. “somethings never change”

The man has loved her for a cumulative 17+ years now. (Since University in 2005 when he saves the kitten to 2023 + the years in repeat timeline 2.0)

STILL he can’t bring himself to propose to her. Roams around with a silly ring round and round for God knows how long before thankfully SHE decides to ask him.

Thank goodness Ji Won decided to fight it out for herself AND him in timeline 2.0. otherwise at the rate Ji Hyuk goes, we’d have needed a timeline 3.0.

  19. Finished! This is one drama I’ll watch again at some point.

I never had any problems with the inclusion of Yura in the story, even though I agree with many others that casting…well, it could’ve been better.

During the course of the drama airing, I read the webtoon and then the novel. I never had an issue with comparisons. Each version stood out in its own way, but I do think the drama version is my favorite.

  20. Super satisfying ending – there were so many plot loose strings to wind up and they did it in a leisurely manner. They even addressed some minor characters like the HS friends. ( I wondered why the camera focused on the one guest but it was the HS clique – I laughed at the line “I didn’t eat anything “. ) Ending did not feel rushed at all. All of the characters who were capable of redemption got their “second chance” and those characters incapable of redemption got their just desserts. @arhsi – 😂!!

  21. Oh and best supporting player cough product placement in the final episode, JH’s argyle sweater! It was in at least three or four scenes!

  22. That argyle sweater was hard to miss!

I am sure that wedding gown was a product placement.

  23. @monmor since we were invited to a kdrama wedding in this last episode let’s discuss! I loved her dress ( not personally) but as a work of art and completely over the top. My quibble was that she needed corsetry or a liner in the bodice. The sheer fabric seemed a little racy. Her tiara was exquisite and could compete with the British royal family. The flowers along the aisle were gorgeous. Whoever did the costuming/fashion in this drama did an amazing job. The wardrobe choices fit each of the characters so well and showed JW’s transformation from ugly duckling to swan.
