Start-Up: Eps 7 & 8 Titles and Traitor??
Hiro90, a CS major, emailed me to share this information: At the beginning of ep 8, we see YongSan stayed behind after everyone had left under the excuse of backing up the project’s source code while ominous background music and narrations were played. Well, what he did is actually backing up the project’s source code […]
Start-Up: On Lying, Part 2
I already gave you two ways of looking at lies. Start-Up: Ep 6 On Lying, Part 1 I’ll give you a couple more. The reason I’m doing this is so we, Bitches can see that lies aren’t the same, and judge them according to the situation or context in which they were said. Let’s all […]

Start-Up: Ep 6 On Lying, Part 1
I visited other sites yesterday and saw a fair amount of outrage and pearl-clutching going on because Dosan lied on behalf of JP. I’m not going to talk about lying from the legal perspective since none of the characters testified under oath and committed perjury. I’m not going to talk about lying from an ethical […]
Start-Up: Ep 6 The Key Man
I wrote a lot. Don’t skip Part C. A. Who’s the Key Man? That’s the title of this episode, “Key Man” and I believe the writer put out several ways to interpret this. This is the definition: “A person who plays a key role in decision-making in an organization.” JP was the first one to […]

Start-Up: Episode 5
This will be brief because I still have to watch Episode 6. Just a handful of notables: 1. The hands I told you that hands were significant, didn’t I? In this episode, the writer tells us more about this hand metaphor. Chulsan: Did she say anything about you? Dosan: My hands. Just my hands nothing […]

Start-Up: Eps 5 & 6 Open Thread
The thread is now open for comments and analyses lol. It came as no surprise that “hands” were the topic of conversation between Dalmi and her grandma, and Dosan and the two Sans. Both of them felt like nobodies because they were empty-handed. Dalmi: Dosan: Sending virtual high-fives! Let’s enjoy the show!

Start-Up: Team “Good Boy” or Team “Geek”
Team “Good Boy” or Team “Geek”? This post had been “under construction” for so long because I didn’t want to say who I was going to pick, and put a thumb on the scale. I was on Team “Good Boy.” As I said in my First Impressions post, Jipyung was Cyrano for me, and I’ve […]
