Bad news first. Here are my four reasons to avoid this Cdrama. 1. The age gap between the actors is 19 years. The actor Shen Lin is 39 years old while Rosy Zhao (aka Lu Si Zhao) is turning 22 in November. They play characters who are similar to their real ages. She begins as […]

Alice: Eps 5 and 6 Questions and Answers
1. Who’s the new assassin? Well, he’s a physicist too like Prof Taeyi. He time-travelled to 2020 and bumped his old self. Because of his expertise and fascination with Schrodinger’s box, he was able to make a replica of one. That’s how he was able to write the formulae on Prof Taeyi’s wall. In case, […]
Record of Youth: Eps 3 and 4 Open Thread
The thread is now open for comments, spoilers, analyses and discussions. The winner for last week’s bingo is Welmaris! Congratulations to our eagle-eyed, trope-seeking Welmaris!! Here’s the bingo card for this week. It’s slightly different from last week’s bingo. (lol. Is this a Tuesday night special?? I’m not promising anything…..) The first person to […]
School Nurse Files: Save-the-Date Friday, Sept 25
All six episodes will be released on Friday, Sept 25. I assume however that this is going to be a two-season kdrama like “Kingdom.” They’ll show the first 6-episode series this year, all at once on the same day, then release the next 6-episode series sometime next year IF the first series garners positive ratings. […]
Maiden Holmes: Episode 1 First Impressions
Hello, Police? I want to report a murder. The writer just killed my Happy Ending. Can you arrest her? To avoid being disappointed with this Cdrama like I was with “The Heiress,” I waited for the reports to come in before recommending this one. Yes! We have a Happy Ending for this drama. Here are […]

Alice: Ep 4
“Physics for Geniuses”? Lol. How about Physics for Bitches? I wondered whether I should write a post on “Physics for Bitches” like I did “Math for Bitches” in “The King: Eternal Monarch” but I decided that there wasn’t any need for it. The kdrama explains what the audience needs to know to understand the story. […]

Flower of Evil: Eps 12 & 13 Open Thread
Spoilers are allowed here. 🙂 If the accomplice is caught by Episode 12 or 13, I think we should rethink the identity of the killer(s). For one, it’s too early to wrap everything up this week. For another, the suicide of the Dad always bugged me. He’s a psychopath, right? A psychopath is narcissistic and […]
Record of Youth: Eps 1 and 2 Open Thread
I’m watching this kdrama for the make-up tutorials. I’m not watching this for: • Park BoGum (that baduk guy Taec from “Reply 1988”), • Park So Dam (before her fame due to “Parasite,” she was in “Cinderella and the Four Princes” and “A Beautiful Mind” — I watched her in those and I like her), […]
Flower of Evil: Miracle23’s Timeline
Thanks @miracle23! Of course, it’s expected of a Flower Gardener (ha!) to be meticulous with details. I’m posting this out here for easy access. I’m adding random gifs because I saw good ones on tumblr. Thanks to the gifers, too. ************** 15.03.1982 – BHS DOB, Korean age as of 2020 = 39 y.o. 08.04.1984 – […]
Do You Like Brahms: Ep 1 First Impressions
First things first. 1. We all understood the reason for the title of the kdrama, right? Park Joon Young: By the way, what kind of exam do you have to take to get into Kyunghoon Cultural Foundation? Chae Song Ah: We had to write a proposal for a chamber music performance. I wrote about a […]
