People should hold off from dissing her work until they’ve spent time critically analyzing her work. Otherwise, their impartiality comes into question.

This drama has turned out to be as thought-provoking as MOA, something I never expected it to be! So many new researchers have joined our tribe here and we have even more theories now 😊 So exciting!

@Phoenix you are so right… I still remember the first post when @pm3 asked if we should watch this drama. No one expected LMH to perform so well (everyone expected KGE to do well so not mentioning her 😛 not because we don’t notice her – but I’m going to weep if LG looses his Polaris. I’m confident he’ll be able to make me. He’s been that good here) No one expected the drama to include so much actual science either.
What a ride ! Thank you @pm3 for the guide, for coming along and for making the escapades from the current situation in the real world possible.
However, I daresay I’d have to re-watch this drama at a later date (a double thanks for the guide then). My brain has been closed for processing from Feb 2020. I only watch it as a member of shallow island (May his hotness endure forever) and to keep up in a bare minimum way with the blog. The posts at BoD convince me that I’m not keeping up with what’s happening on screen 😂

@arihsi I was watching the drama as a member from shallow island and if I have given up at Ep2, I would have given up the opportunity to “meet” many beautiful minds through an online platform, this is new and enriching for me. Being able to share and read exchanges online safely and respectfully is such a blessing.
I think we should all have a soju/or similiar mixed at the exact same time to celebrate:
– the end of what has been a fantastic series
-hopefully a happy ending or when we can live with
-the great insights on this forum

Well…we all have our parallel universe doppelgängers? So we leave the Cynical twin on Cynical Island and Shallow twin can party all she wants on Shallow Island. I second the floating platform @GB. 🤣. With water slide?
@nrllee Oooh yes, great idea! The platform will be positioned between the islands just a few meters away from the bridge. We could have 2 levels of water slides. The ‘Gentle Ride Slide’ brings us sweetly to the Royal Kitchen where the aperitifs will be served on little boats … this will be best for more creaky ahjummas like me, but we have also the more exciting ‘High and Mighty’spiral slides that bring the more intrepid and active among us, screaming into Shirtless Bay. It will be a blast!
We can enjoy watching from platform or bridge.
Everyone can bring a date or your family (if you deem that appropriate 😉) and of course your favourite food and drink to share!!

Yessss to all your party suggestions!!! I want to drink soju with ban-ban chicken in true kdrama style! I’ve never had soju and have always wanted to have it. Not only to celebrate end of a fabulous drama (and hopefully a happy ending), but as @GB pointed out, to celebrate our coming together on our safe haven island nation during these difficult times. Right-ho! I’ll get the builders to build higher and branch out over the side of Manly Peaks to the Waterfall. Then the High and Mighty slides can give us a choice to spiral forward into Shirtless Bay or take a hard left into Waterfall of Shallowness. (The water however will be deep enough so no fear of us landing, Splat! 😆 😅 😂)

@Newtokdrama yes !! When are we having the mixed drink ? I have only vodka at home (sad but true. It’s hidden away in the fridge-that-was-a-mistake… Yes, I keep alcohol in the fridge. Because it has to be well hidden from the baby. The baby doesn’t know how to play fridge Jenga as yet so can’t access it. The original booze cabinet now houses a variety of baby food, formula, cereals etc whereas I’m stuck with a lone bottle of vodka hidden like some crime. Ah parenthood.)
That’s why I’m glad Shallow Island is providing so much variety @GB in the line of alcoholic beverages as well as eye candies… Most importantly, it’s child-proof ! 😄
LOL! @Arihsi, I have wines at home but the thought of Soju being the most appropriate drink to toast 🥳 🥂 this show has got me planning a trip to the store to get a bottle. Thing is, there are all kinds of drinks there but I’ve not noticed Soju before!!
Even without baby (mine are now adults or near to being so) I still play jenga in cupboards and fridges (yes, plural!!!) Never knew how much in the way of snack food and condiments, instant noodles and varieties of drinks I’d end up storing. If anything, the lockdown period has gotten some of the foodstuffs eaten which finally cleared some space! 😅

@uzee, for this kdrama, the people here in this blog created two “islands.” One island is for the supporters of this drama and fans of Lee MinHo. The name of their island is the Shallow Island.
The opposite island is *my* Island. It’s called the Cynical Island. I have the occasional guests coming over to stay but I kick them out at night because I want them to have fun at the Shallow Island.
This is all metaphorical (or allegorical). Seriously, why would a reader lurk here at Bitchesoverdramas and read the posts on TKEM when they hate the drama, right? So, really everybody should be heading off to Shallow Island. Except of course, for me. I’m here on this island because I guard the others. 🙂

I tread between islands constantly. I like the show but I do grumble at bits and pieces. I see that some criticism is warranted. I will praise the show where it’s due and either shut up about or grumble at the things that could have been better. 😏

This blog is a gift. I’ve had to rewatch the episodes of TKEM to understand it. It’s really good and I love it. You will know right away it’s a KES drama. I adore her but unlike her other dramas, TKEM beyond my comprehension hahaha. Thank you!
