I’m restarting our Meatless Friday recipe threads because we had so much great ideas from you all last year. Here’s what I’m planning to experiment on tomorrow. “Experiment” is the key word. I don’t know how this will taste like because I only jotted down the ingredients of the Thai dish I was served a […]
2D1N: Ep 113 Highlights
My notes. 1. Inwoo tries to sleep before 1 am. He’s going to sleep later than that while taping 2D1N. He has insomnia but on his day taping 2D1N, he conked out because of fatigue. He always carries a small crossbody bag on him. Why is that? 2. According to Dindin, the taping is over […]
Business Proposal: Episode 2 My Takes
Do you know that my favorite sitcom is “Seinfeld”? Three reasons I can watch the reruns over and over on Youtube and still find them funny is because: a. the catchphrases are spot on. The screenwriters have coined words and phrases that have become part of modern-day lexicon. Like “soup nazi,” “shrinkage,” “Master of my […]
Bitch Talk: What Are We Watching in Mar 2022?
I still have my February line-up to finish so I’m going to be pretty selective about starting a new drama this month. I’ll only consider dramas with wit, verve, and humor…and Lee Minho. 🤪 I’m making a special exception for Lee Minho’s melodrama “Pachinko” — just because. I have my eye on four dramas. 1. […]
Twenty-Five Twenty-One: List of OSTs
As requested by Janey. Janey, I don’t have the lyrics for the many of the songs. If you find them, just post them in the comment section and I’ll edit this. Thanks. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Extra: “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One” (2013) by Jaurim In the season where flowers wither in the wisping wind1 I can still feel the touch […]
W: Two Worlds: Ep 1 Rewatch on Sat March 5
Updated: 3/3/22 I’m pinning this to the top of the blog so it’ll be easy to access for the rewatch. –pm3 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 The thread is open for our rewatch of W: Two Worlds. Growing_Beautifully, Cleopatra, Welmaris, WEnchanteur, Janey, Fern, FGB4877, and Carolina, are you ready? Did I get the time correct, @GB? Usual time: 14:00 […]
Grid: Eps 3 & 4 Open Thread
The first open thread is getting too long so I’m opening a new thread. The link for the 1st Open Thread covering Episodes 1 & 2 is here: Grid: Open Thread Gifs from mostlyfate’s tumblr source: mostlyfate’s tumblr And because tomorrow it’s Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting and abstinence for me and @Growing_Beautifully, I’ll have […]
Twenty-Five Twenty-One: Episode 3 My Takes
I’m sure you’ve all thoroughly covered the romance aspect of this episode, so I’ll just give the sports/fencing perspective. 1. A note on the Coach Sidenote: Her plumped up lips, “aegyo sal,” taut cheeks, and hooked chin bother me. Did the actress undergo plastic surgery? Or is her character supposed to be a plastic surgery […]
Business Proposal: Episode 1 Quick Takes
Sold! Anybody who’s crazy enough to give her boobs names, i.e. “the one on the left is Samantha and the one on the right is Rachel,” is going to be fun watching. Admittedly, I didn’t fall in love at first sight with this kdrama. The first half was spent setting up the blind date, and […]
2D1N: Ep 113 Open Thread
I’m opening this for us, Nrllee and Fern. And whoever wants to join us. Fern, these are unsubbed YT clips. I hope you can access them over there where you are. Enjoy! Oh gosh! The trio did go together in the freezing water. It’s their baptism. They’re the improved and energized Young Boys team. […]
Business Proposal: Eps 1 & 2 Open Thread
The thread is open for spoilers and discussion. I don’t care if this show is shallow as a kiddie pool. I just need antidote for my growing pessimism. Hopefully, this drama isn’t going to glorify kink in the office. Honestly, I’m more in the mood to deliver a kick-in-the-butt in my office. lol. The second couple […]
Twenty-Five Twenty-One: Eps 1 and 2 First Impressions
First, I’m going to treat this kdrama as a coming-of-age story rather than a typical romcom. Since my focus is on how the heroine Na Heedo navigates her passage into adulthood, I won’t be dragged into speculating about the father of her daughter. I’ll allow the writer and director to keep the identity a secret […]
Twenty-Five Twenty-One: Eps 5 & 6 Open Thread
The thread is now open. Since I’m behind you all, I’m avoiding any gifs from Episodes 3 and 4. But I can’t help posting this. We know what it’s all about, right? Right? source: kimgoeun’s tumblr He was “flexing.” I think flexing his biceps/triceps is including in his contract in lieu of naked torso. hahaha. […]
2D1N: Ep 112 The First Mission
Thanks, @nrllee, for the allkpop link about the spike in ratings. allkpop.com/na-in-woo I badly needed a break from the world last night, but since I already had my 🚨Emergency🚨Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for dinner, this show was my happy pill. According to wiki, this weekend’s episode had a nationwide rating of 15.6% and Seoul rating […]
