Again My Life: Eps 5 & 6 Open Thread
The thread is now open for analysis and discussion. gifs from natahjikio’s tumblr source: natahjikio’s tumblr Hmmm…this is an intriguing premise since it proposes that the male lead Kim Heewoo turn himself into a bigger monster than his enemy in order to take him down. This runs counter to Heewoo’s central belief that a prosecutor […]

Business Proposal: Viva’s Testimonial to Kang Taemoo
Updated, May 3, 2022. Kim Sejeong posted on Ahn HyoSeop’s instagram. She wrote, “Ani, Taemoo-ssi” or “No, Taemoo.” I told @agdr03 that she sounded just like Hari. hahaha. She wanted Taemoo’s body just for her eyes only. Thanks, @agdr03 for the update. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Congratulations to Viva, our new President of the Kang Taemoo Appreciation Club! […]

My Liberation Notes: Eps 3 & 4 Open Thread
The thread is now open. I’m watching this show for now because of Mr. Gu. No, I don’t think he’s a serial killer. Since this is kdrama, I think he’s just a stereotypical anti-hero with hyperactive guilty conscience. (Hello, I’m Catholic. I know all about hyperactive guilty conscience.)Â Why do I like him? Well…definitely not […]

I’m posting @Welmaris’ critique here. Thanks, @Welmaris! I’m only adding the gifs. — pm3 My Liberation Notes is written by the same screenwriter as My Mister, which I thought masterfully done. My Mister depicts the lives and tribulations of three brothers and one outsider: an impoverished girl who, as an orphan caring for a disabled […]
Easter Blessings!
Easter Sunday’s Gospel. It’s from the book of John 20: 1-9. On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple […]

Twenty-five Twenty-One: Ep 16 On First Loves
It’s a sad fact that all the hue and cry about the ending overshadowed a good discussion on the theme of the drama. The genre of the drama is a coming-of-age story. The theme of the drama is first love. From Episode 3 Yurim: You were my first love! So you should do that much […]
